Karenina remained quiet, listening to his tensed voice.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Hello?" He continued, "Your cousin called me and informed me that you're still in bed! Even your father and your uncles are worrying about you. What's the matter?"
She didn't answer any of his questions which made him lose his cool and growl at her in irritation.
"Listen, I was taking the class which is why I didn't reply to your texts. I was planning on calling you to ask about your health. Is your body still in pain? I asked the maids to give you strong painkillers."
"Romeo, why did you leave early in the morning without even meeting me?" she finally broke the silence. "Are you bored of me after last night's intimate rounds?"
