" Karenina is beating Clara and when I tried to stop her as class leader, she ultimately refused to do so, Father ," the guy who was pushed by Karenina earlier complained.
Father Romeo looked at Karenina, his expressions were neutral. He wasn't annoyed or anything but his voice sounded cold like chilling night.
" This was not something I was expecting from the respected daughter of Alpha Dante. Do you know I can suspend you from the class for using your powers and injuring your classmates?"
Father Romeo's words hit her like thundering bolts. Karenina leaves the girl's collar and stands there , staring at Romeo and the blonde guy beside him.
" Katty, apologise to Father Romeo before he suspends you from the class for a week," Helene whispers .
" I'm sorry for starting the fight, Father , but they were gossiping about me," Karenina was more straightforward than Helene had thought.
" You should have complained to me rather than taking action yourself," Romeo coldly replied.
This made Karenina sad for some reason. She was expecting Romeo to take her side but he was being neutral which disappointed her. She lowers her face and apologies to Clara and the class leader
" Alright, now all of you have settled down. Karenina has realised her mistakes," Romeo says as he starts taking the attendance.
Karenina sat down, cursing herself within, in rage and sadness. She doesn't even want to say sorry for her intentional fight but when Romeo mentioned about class suspension Karenina apologised. She doesn't want her father to know about her wrongdoings and get abandoned for real.
The class began with Romeo's literature lecture. Karenina wasn't interested in his lecture, she rather whispered near Helene and asked about the class leader.
" He's Ivaan Stanford, heir of Shadow pack," Helene replies as they look back at serious Ivaan, who was paying attention to Romeo's lecture and writing it down.
" I have known him since nursery class as we went to the same school he has always chased for being number 1 in academics and athletics," Helene pauses when their eyes meet with Ivaan's.
" He is looking in our direction, Helene," Karenina murmurs.
" Let's stop talking for now otherwise he might complain again," Helene added.
Unfortunately Karenina failed to escape from Romeo's sharp gaze. He asked her to come to his office after the class ended. With a long face Karenina arrives inside Romeo's office.
" I don't like my students talking during my periods. I have ignored you for today as it's your first day in my class," he complains , getting seated in his chair.
" You don't have to ignore me, Father. It will take time for me to understand the rules and regulations of your class," Karenina replies in a very seductive tone.
Walking towards Romeo's table, she leans over while adjusting her hands on his table, giving Romeo a full view of her blossom through her low-collared shirt.
For a second Romeo couldn't take his eyes from her. Suddenly he realised his mistake and turned his face to the other side.
" K-Karenina , I understand. Now leave."
His stuttering voice made her more excited. She became curious. She walks forth, closing the distance between her and Romeo. Maintaining eye contact with him she whimpers in her wolf's voice," Father, why do I feel like we have a connection?"
" What connection?" Romeo gets up from his chair and backs off immediately from Karenina.
"Something you don't want to know or maybe you're pretending not to know. Whatever the reason is, it's pathetic."
Romeo kept quiet. Karenina felt like being insulted by his silence. To her Romeo's silence meant that he's aware of the truth but deliberately wants to hide. Before Karenina would say anything further, Romeo grabs her wrist and drags her out of his office.
" Karenina, I don't know what you're talking about but please behave yourself. I'm only going easy on you because your father is my old best friend," he said looking coldly at her.
"Mind your language in front of me and practice discipline in my classes if you want to graduate with good merit."
Saying that Romeo shuts the door close at Karenina's face. For a minute Karenina couldn't move, she was so stunned to even say a word. Her thoughts on seducing Romeo crashed into pieces.
' A coldhearted man like him can't be my mate. My wolf is probably confused in her heat and is not able to recognise the true mate,' she murmured annoyingly under her breath.
' And the fact that he sees me as his old friend's daughter is disgusting. How can I convince him to get into a fake relationship with me?' Karenina thought as she walked out of there.
BUMP
Karenina's face got bumped into a tall-blonde guy. Rubbing her forehead she cursed,"Do you have your eyes fixed at your back? Can't you see?"
Karenina moves back and starts to leave without even bothering to see who the guy was she bumped into.
" Looks like foreigners have no respect for their class leader," that guy chuckles, mocking her.
It took no time for Karenina to recognise Ivaan Stanford's voice. She turns back, and smiles," Oh, my bad. Let me do it again."
" What do you mean?" Ivaan repeated.
Karenina walks towards him, and intentionally bumps her face again into Ivaan's chest causing him to stumble upon and fall down eventually. Squatting down, Karenina dramatically sighs," Oh my goodness, I was so in a hurry that I couldn't see you coming. Please be a big hearted class leader and forgive your classmate.``
"Y-You..."
Other two guys standing behind Ivaan cussed clenching their fists,ready to hit her. But Ivaan stopped them as he got up from the ground. Coming close to Karenina, he whispers,"I challenge you for duel. Come to the backyard of the boy's dormitory if you are the daughter of Alpha Dante."
"You better not regret challenging me because I'm going to rip off your limbs and feed them to your dogs," She cussed, glaring into Ivaan's crimson red eyes.
