"Hurry up, come inside quickly," Helene pulls Karenina inside the room because she was walking like a zombie. Locking the door, she takes the kit from her hand and looks at it.
Her words got stuck in her throat as she struggled to find appropriate words to say to Karenina. Putting the kit back in the package, she covers it with the newspaper and puts it back in her drawer. Sighing, she makes Karenina sit on the bed and holds her hand, "It's not a big deal. It's not your fault, sometimes medicines don't work as we assume them to work."
Karenina remained quiet, her face pale as white paper. Her fingers clench on her skirt's edge as her mind tries to overcome the shock.
Helene sat next to her and gently patted her back, and consoled her, "There's nothing to worry about, Katty. Please, do not overthink and calm down your anxiety so that we can talk clearly."
