"Wow, I never expected you to be this shameless," Alex's voice sounded full of disgust for him. "I know she's an adult but don't you feel ashamed of yourself for getting romantically involved with your best friend's daughter? He acknowledged you as Karenina's guardian, not as her lover!"
"We are only 10 years apart and Dante is 8 years older than me. So it's not a big deal, I'm not of her father's age," He proudly replied and asked Alex to calm down. "At first I tried to convince myself that it's wrong for me to be attracted to Karenina. I even punished myself for it. However I couldn't go against the arrangements of Moon Goddess."
