Alexander's POV
PTG CO Tower, top-floor office.
The afternoon sun filtered through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, casting countless dazzling reflections on the marble floor. The entire office was decorated in a monotone palette of black, white, and gray.
"Mr. Duncan, Mr. Jorden just called, requesting a video conference with you," said Josie, my secretary, standing respectfully by my side.
I looked up, a faint smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "I know. I'll get in touch with him."
Josie blinked in surprise, quickly lowering her head as a faint blush crept onto her cheeks. She's worked by my side for eight years, and especially in the last six, it's rare for me to show any sign of a smile.
"Anything else?" I asked, the smile fading as I furrowed my brow slightly.
"No, nothing else," Josie replied softly, turning to leave. As she reached the door, she bumped into Quinn, who was just entering.
