Alexander's POV
The night was hazy and the moonlight cold; it was a night destined for sorrow.
I drove back to the villa, and as soon as Diana heard the sound of the car engine in the yard, she came out to greet me. After six years, Diana had aged considerably. I had originally planned to send Diana back to the countryside to live out her old age and give her some money, but she refused, saying she couldn't bear to leave me alone here.
"Alpha, you're back!" Diana's face was lit up with a smile.
Since what happened six years ago, I rarely come here. Perhaps it was because I didn't want to be reminded of the past. Six years have passed, and the room remains unchanged, just as it was when she left. The two nursery rooms were still there. I personally finished the last decorations and placed the crib and baby supplies we had chosen together inside.
