"Dear, I'm sorry, but I've lost your godson."
"Lost?" Karl immediately understood what I meant, and his brows furrowed with worry as he asked, "How are you doing now? Darling, don't be too upset. There will be other children in the future. If worse comes to worst, you can give me another godson in a few years."
"Yes." I forced a smile and nodded.
"Be good, and come find me when you have time," Karl said with a slight smile. "By the way, I heard that the leader of the Blue Moon Pack, Vincent, has been expelled from the Red Blood Pack. As far as I know, the Alpha once had a deal with the Blue Moon Pack. Perhaps he promised them something, which is why they went all out to help him get rid of Vincent. After all, Vincent has the Chen family bloodline and was supported by the Blue Moon Pack from the beginning."
I was slightly stunned and then said with a smile, "Dear, why are you telling me all this?"
Karl chuckled, "It's nothing."
