Mechelle's POV
"Mrs. Duncan, what I said is the truth. Oh, and if you see the Alpha, please pass on a message for me. Tell him I won't let him down." Vincent smiled, an inexplicably evil grin.
I was stunned for a moment, feeling a chill run down my spine. "Don't worry! I will relay the message to him."
"That's good." Vincent placed a kiss on Linda's forehead. "Little girl, you continue chatting with Mrs. Duncan. I have something to take care of." After taking a few steps, he stopped, turned halfway, and looked at me with a faint, mocking smile. "Mrs. Duncan, I feel like you look familiar. Have we met somewhere before?"
"Alpha, you must be mistaken! You're so busy; how could you have met me?" I smiled faintly, meeting his sharp, cold, eagle-like eyes without any fear.
"Hehe, maybe I am mistaken!" Vincent laughed wickedly and turned to leave the café.
Linda helplessly pouted. "Mechelle, don't take it to heart. My cousin is just like that."
