A/N I needed the extra fluff after all the heartache I've been writing. 😓
Kacchan's POV
Thanks to Toshi running out and picking up the ingredients and general food supply for the dorms I was able to get a head start on cleaning and cutting up everything and it actually took longer for him and Deku to put everything away than for me to finish cooking, which was of course enough for everyone in the dorms. It was our turn to cook anyway and the fact that Aiko just made it easy to pick what was for dinner made me smile.
Mom arrived just as I was making two children sized plates and Yuki came running in and tackled me around my knees.
"Did you really buy the best ice cream in the world?" She looked up and her bright red eyes were red rimmed as if she had been crying recently which made me frown.
"Of course but don't worry, I bought the chocolate too," I rolled my eyes and she giggled. I crouched down and rubbed a thumb under one of her eyes and she must have realized why.
"A Bakugo doesn't cry," she huffed, trying to avoid eye contact.
I pulled her chin so that she was looking at me, "A Bakugo doesn't let others make them cry. There is a difference." I held her attention, not letting her look away and tears were springing up again. I gave her a small tug and she was crying in my arms.
I don't know what was making her cry but it must be pretty bad. I put down the serving spoon and picked up my baby sister, walking out of the room with Deku and Aiko following me. It wasn't until the four of us were in my room that Yuki explained what was going on, surprising me. I didn't know Grandpa was hurt and when I checked my phone sure enough there was a text with the information on it and how not only my parents but also Dad were going to him in Mufasa. It's probably best that I didn't know until now.
I put my phone away and take a deep breath before facing little Yuki. Her chestnut brown hair was much longer than the hags and up until Aiko got a perm they were matching.
"Let's eat well at dinner so that we don't worry Grandpa," I smiled at her and she looked a bit confused. "It would only worry him sick if he found out how upset you are right now. Besides, he'll be able to get better faster if we are doing well," I smiled at her, gently wiping her tears away and she hugged me tightly. After a few minutes she had calmed down and I was able to clean her face and we all went back downstairs. Both girl's plates were untouched and it's only now that I realized that no one but our family realized dinner was even done.
"Oi you fucking extras! It's not my fault if you let the food get cold!" I yelled out the doorway and in seconds the kitchen was filled with the chaos of our classmates making their own plates while I helped Aiko and Yuki into the chair they were sharing. They quickly picked up their chopsticks and ate their food making faces whenever they took a bite of the respective most hated foods. If they ever think to trade Yuki's carrots for Aiko's bell peppers they won't be allowed to sit together like this anymore so one of us is always watching to make sure that they actually ate. But as always even though they made a show of how much they hated those particular foods they each got a second helping and once they were done Toshi started scooping out the ice cream while I grabbed them each an almond cookie from the cooling rack.
The way they cheered at the ridiculous amount of chocolate in front of them had our entire class cooing about their cuteness. Well almost the whole class.
"I want ice cream and cookies too," Kaminari pouted and Toshi asked him what flavor while holding up the chocolate and lemon and the way his eyes widened at the lemon was almost too much. In the end, the three of us plus Kami got lemon ice cream while everyone else got chocolate and of course I made plenty of almond cookies to go around so everyone was able to have more than one.
"Is high school always like this? It's way better than preschool," Aiko sighed and the way both of them acted like they were weary of the world or something had several of our classmates laughing.
"Aunty? Can I have another cookie?" Yuki asked but when Mom held up a forkful of carrots she made a face. "But Aunty, big brother Kacchan didn't have to!" She pointed at me and the fact that I had picked up another cookie, I frowned at her and rolled my eyes at her while I handed the treat to Deku. It was never for me in the first place and she pouted even more.
"Mom?" Aiko joined Yuki and I swear it's the attack of the little sisters.
"There are plenty of bell peppers too," She smiled and both girls accepted the forkfuls of food while making long faces. Only smiling when I handed them their hard earned cookies after they swallowed.
"Mrs. Yagi, you have your hands full. What possessed you to have five kids so close in age like this? And why does Yuki call you Aunty instead of Mom?" Ashido chatted happily, ignoring the evil eye I was sending her way.
"Oh dear, I've only given birth to two of them. I don't think any woman could be expected to have so many children at once," Mom laughed at Ashido like she was being silly. "Izuku and Aiko were quite hard enough already. Besides, you do know that all the boys are all the same age with different birthdays don't you? Pregnancy doesn't go by that quickly." She picked up the girls who were now yawning and rubbing at their eyes. "Come now girls, give your brothers good night hugs, it's time to go home, brush your teeth and climb into bed."
Aiko and Yuki held hands while going to each of us and getting their cuddles before Mom carried them out of the dorms. Once the doors closed behind them you would think I set off an explosion or something.
"SHE ISN'T YOUR REAL MOM!" My idiots screamed and I rolled my eyes at them. They really are very stupid.
"She is legally," I answered, not bothering to go into detail when a thought crossed my mind. "Yuki is my full blood sister so back the fuck off," I sent a glare at all of them and only Deku's friends flinched back at the hostility in my glare, well except for Icyhot that is.
Wait a fucking minute…
Where in the fuck is Glasses?
