"I am death, I am fear, I am anxiety, I am defeat! I am the greatest of them all!" Lax shouted triumphantly down at Nita, who lay beaten and barely able to move.
"You think you could withstand my Bender skills? Only Primes can stand against me now!" he continued, his voice dripping with arrogance as he intimidated her.
Numerous white lights flickered around Nita's neck and exposed body, evidence of the brutal beating she had endured.
"He's... coming to kill you!" she whispered hoarsely, her voice barely audible.
Lax leaned in mockingly, his laughter echoing through the room. "What's that? Have you lost your voice?" he taunted.
With a cough, Nita repeated, "Pentaro, he's coming to kill you!"
Lax's laughter erupted once more, his confidence unshaken. "You think he can stand against me? You must be delusional!" he scoffed.
"I am the only one who can master the greatest spell of all time, Eternal Chaos!" he boasted, his laughter echoing off the walls. "But why waste such power on an already weakened douchebag?" he added dismissively.
Nita coughed up blood, her strength waning. "He might be weak, but he's still the strongest," she managed to say.
"Ahhhh, for how long has he been banished? When was the last time he trained? Lack of training weakens, but I trained all day for a good two years. I am beyond his league, I'm beyond everyone here, except the Supreme!" Lax proclaimed, his voice reverberating throughout the room.
The echo was soon interrupted by the sound of steady footsteps approaching, causing both Lax and Nita to turn their heads in anticipation.
Through the door emerged Pentaro, his form cloaked in blood yet untouched, likely the blood of those he had dispatched outside.
"Pen... Taro?" Nita managed to utter, a glimmer of hope evident in her voice.
"Ahh, the savior!" Lax sneered, his voice dripping with mockery.
Pentaro halted in his tracks upon seeing Hira lying on the ground, blood staining her form.
"You've kept me waiting actually, I thought...." Lax began, but Pentaro cut him off with a dismissive gesture. He was not in the mood for idle chatter.
"What is the extent of her injuries?" he demanded, his voice edged with urgency.
"Huh?" Lax faltered, caught off guard by the abrupt question.
"Her injuries, what level are they?" Pentaro repeated, his tone firm.
"I'd say critical, by my usual standard. I don't allow my victims to die easily," Lax replied, a smirk playing on his lips.
An angry smile twisted Pentaro's features, but he remained silent. Instead, he raised a finger and closed his eyes in concentration.
"Uhhh, what do you think you're doing? Your attacks are fruitless against my Eternal Chaos," Lax boasted, raising two fingers and closing his eyes. "Eternal Chaos: Onslaught!"
As the words left his lips, Nita's expression shifted with recognition. Before she could react, a thick black veil materialized, enveloping the entire area in darkness within seconds. Despite the darkness, Pentaro remained composed, his finger still raised, eyes closed in concentration.
"Die!" Lax shouted, extending his hand toward Pentaro, but to his surprise, nothing happened. Confusion flashed across his face.
"Why isn't this working? I thought..." Before he could finish his sentence, his outstretched hand detached from his body and fell to the ground with a soft thud.
"Eternal Chaos!"
"Violence!"
Pentaro declared calmly.
