With lightning speed, she launched herself at the guards, her fists flying in a blur of motion. Despite their best efforts to stop her, Alice fought with all her strength, her movements fueled by a burning desire to protect the city she loved.
But just as she gained the upper hand, a familiar voice echoed through the room, a voice she recognized all too well.
"Alice, stop!"
It was Sam, her loyal friend and ally, who had come to her aid once again. Relief washed over Alice as she saw him, her spirits lifting at the sight of his familiar face.
"Sam, thank goodness you're here," Alice exclaimed, her voice filled with gratitude. "We have to stop Bruce and Adam before it's too late."
Sam nodded in agreement, his expression grim. "I know," he replied, his voice tinged with urgency. "But we can't do it alone. We need to regroup with our allies and come up with a plan."
