Alice remained unfazed. "You're under arrest for conspiracy, corruption, and involvement with The Syndicate. You have the right to remain silent."
Back at the precinct, Delaney was placed in an interrogation room. Alice and Ryan watched through the one-way glass as Linda and Sanchez began the interrogation.
"We have enough evidence to put you away for a long time," Linda said, her voice calm but firm. "But if you cooperate, we can discuss leniency."
Delaney's eyes narrowed. "You think you can scare me? I have powerful friends."
"Those friends won't help you now," Sanchez said. "They're all going down with you. The best thing you can do is start talking."
For hours, Delaney remained defiant, refusing to give up any information. But as the pressure mounted and the evidence against him piled up, his resolve began to crack.
Finally, he leaned back in his chair, a defeated look on his face. "Fine. I'll talk. But I want a deal."
