Alice's heart raced. "No!" she shouted, lunging forward.
Ryan tackled Reaper, knocking the detonator from his hand. The device skidded across the floor, coming to a stop at Alice's feet. She picked it up, her hands shaking.
Reaper struggled against Ryan's grip, his eyes filled with fury. "You'll never stop us!"
Alice looked at the detonator, her mind racing. "What does this control, Reaper? Tell me!"
Reaper's smile returned. "It's already too late. The bombs are set to go off in less than an hour. You'll never find them all."
Alice's blood ran cold. She turned to her team. "We need to find those bombs. Now!"
The team sprang into action, coordinating with bomb squads and deploying officers throughout the city. Alice and Ryan took the detonator back to the precinct, hoping to disarm it and trace the signal to the bombs.
