Alice was deep in thought. "We need to find the head of this snake. Who's running Prime Holdings?"
Jake pulled up a photo on the screen. "According to my research, Prime Holdings is run by a man named Victor Black. He's a ghost, no social media, no public appearances. He operates from the shadows, but his influence is vast."
To get closer to Black, Alice and Ryan decided to follow the money trail from Prime Holdings to its local operations. They discovered that several properties were managed by a company called Urban Developments, a subsidiary of Prime Holdings. They arranged to meet with one of the executives, under the pretense of potential investors.
Dressed in business attire, Alice and Ryan entered the sleek office of Urban Developments. They were greeted by a man in his mid-forties, James Bennett, the company's Vice President.
"Welcome," Bennett said, shaking their hands. "I understand you're interested in our latest development projects."
