The rings of Saturn...
Made of meteorite and ice they form the only natural surface around the gas giant.
Only made inhabitable in recent years by the Rinock named Orion Royock.
A forgotten king.
A forgotten era.
Perhaps if this king was still alive the Red empire wouldn't dare to take a strike against Iceurn city.
There is only one certainty they would never achieve victory.
Smoke consumed the never ending depths of space surrounding Iceurn city.
The city was being ravaged, torn apart by conflict.
And the killing blow was about to be made...
While all light was slowly beginning to vanish one by one.
The city is shutting down!
And as the final light flickered away Shirogane crashed down into the centre of chaotic destruction.
"Looks like we're too late" Kori looked upon the shattering ice that once built the largest city of Saturn.
"No this is only starting..., you can use your ice to repair the city right?" Hikaru forced Kori to look further into the alleyways of the crumbling city.
Kids starving, women massacred.
All kinds of people being slaughtered in the darkness.
"Fine I guess I can repair the city..." Kori began to emit a sky blue mist from her hands.
Meanwhile Feather stood mindlessly as she began to learn her people had it easy.
"There he is..., hey Shirogane look up to your right" Hikaru called out as he dropped down to the ice made surface of the city.
"I can't see anything within this city" Shirogane walked straight into a corpse, crushing the skull beneath his feet.
"Which is why I'll guide you there" Hikaru activated his technique electric perception, allowing him to see the nervous system of their target.
"There's so many warriors, the empire has so much power in this city... but how?" Hikaru thought to himself after he saw Rinocks die one after another.
"Wait you are Zeons?..., so if your not with us that means that you're from Earth" a Rinock soldier called out, spitting the blood of his latest victim out.
"We take him together, then we rush to Mirai" Hikaru appeared dagger in hand, tracking every movement the newly arrived threat made.
"That'll slow us down, let me fight him alone" Shirogane shoved Hikaru out the way, whilst cracking his knuckles.
"Face it Shirogane!".
"You're useless here only I can see in this darkness, so allow me to do this... step aside" Hikaru insisted as his aura spiked.
But...
As the warriors argued Colum wasted no time in ending their lives.
Appearing beside Hikaru, Colum dragged his cleaver slicing through the air.
Only to be tossed into the ground by Shirogane.
"We fight him together" Shirogane and Hikaru spoke in sync and for once they completely agreed with each other.
Hikaru thrusted a blade of dominant energy straight into the Rinock's back, pinning him to the ground.
And as the Rinock struggled to escape Shirogane relentlessly attacked with a birage of fists.
Shirogane caused a storm of sand and gravel to swirl up around himself.
Being devoured by the storm Shirogane's senses were dulled even further.
"Can't you tell the difference between my skin and the ground beneath our feet Zeon?".
The murderous intent of the blood drenched Rinock oozed out, consuming Shirogane's will.
And as Shirogane's attacks became sluggish Hikaru's heart sunk as he realised that their opponent had escaped.
But before either of them could react, Colum dragged his pickaxe through the air.
Hikaru threw himself above Shirogane, falling between his ally and the danger.
Impaling his hand upon the meteorite pickaxe Hikaru crashed his fist straight into the Rinock.
"Shirogane kill him... now!" Hikaru yelled as the Rinock's skin splintered into his fist.
And as Hikaru cried his final word, Shirogane dragged his fist back forgetting everything, listening to his primal instincts.
The voice within that tells him to survive.
Suddenly the darkness was conquered..., only for a second.
But that second was long enough.
Long enough for Shirogane to see his fist smash against the Rinock's face, hollowing their head.
And as the Rinock's corpse dropped the ground Shirogane's blood drenched fist flailed down to his waist.
"You did the right thing, he was vicious, relentless".
"If we hadn't killed him here many more would have died including the both of us as well as those on Earth" Hikaru tried to console his ally as he felt Shirogane's emotion fade away.
"I know that your right Hikaru..., but what I just did was what my father and Kibar would have done".
"Am I a mon...".
Hikaru interrupted Shirogane with his usual arrogance "shut it even if you are a monster..., you still have to protect those you call family as much as i hate to admit it you forced that fact upon me".
The emptiness of space was suddenly filled with energy, illuminating the battlefield.
"He's in the centre of that light..., Mirai is there" Hikaru alerted Shirogane.
