Two weeks later and without any cause to stop they made it faster then expected.
Both Hikaru and Shirogane arrived upon the rings that surround Saturn.
Saturn spiralled as the rings made of ice and meteorite slowly circled the gas planet.
And as the ice turned to dust, something stuck out...
A floating city made of asteroids and meteorite buildings.
A city which lit up the endless darkness of space that surrounds it.
A city which should be impossible in the Dominant Age.
Such impossibility brings about curiosity.
"Lets check that place out first, with any luck they'll be there waiting for us" Hikaru stared upon the floating fortress.
And as the warriors travelled closer, a cloud of destruction blinded them to the chaos possessing the city.
Fire, destruction, death, the city was ravaged but no one was there, it was abandoned.
"Its like a ghost town here" Shirogane lifted a plate of meteorite up tossing it into the air.
And in the meteorite's absence a corpse was revealed.
A corpse of a Rinock.
A Rinock girl who's rock like skin had been completely destroyed, fragments tearing into her flesh.
Both warriors stared upon the corpse, feeling failure loom over them.
"yeah makes you wonder if we are too late" Hikaru forced his eyes away from the girl's corpse.
And as Hikaru dragged his eyes to the area across a nearby bridge, his eyes saw even more disaster.
Piles of bodies were being lined up, only to be set a light.
The corpses just kept piling up, there's no end to the death that hit Comet city.
Feeling that same failure as before loom over his shoulders Hikaru dashed across the shaking bridge.
"What happened here, tell me was it the Red empire?" Hikaru grabbed a hold of young woman.
"Who are you, your skin you look just like their leader" a Rinock woman screeched.
"So it was a Zeon, if that's the case... then we are too late" Hikaru thought to himself as he looked across to two arguing Rinocks.
Meanwhile across the bridges onto another sector of Comet city.
A sector unharmed, untouched by the empire.
To be more exact sector seven.
"Maybe it wasn't the empire, I don't think Uzunami would just leave some parts unharmed" Shirogane thought to himself as citizens cowered in their homes, staring upon the young warrior.
"I guess they were right to rush my recovery, you know were in an alliance with the empire now don't you?, so why are you searching the city?" Saeon appeared out of no where, his arms newly crafted.
And upon a moments notice Shirogane clenched his fists ready to fight.
Shirogane locked his eyes onto the approaching Rinock, awaiting his first attack.
Meanwhile in sector eight...
"Your wrong the prince knows what he's doing!, he'll make sure we survive" a young girl shouted out.
"You can't even call him a Rinock anymore, he's a machine, how do you expect him to feel the way we feel" a elderly looking man argued back, his skin decaying.
"So the prince is a machine?" Hikaru appeared in between the arguing Rinocks.
"Yeah he is, a Rinock turned machine, all metal you cannot tell me that he is capable of being a king" the hairless Rinock answered, his voice carrying terror and uncertainty.
"That just means he'll be able to protect us, think about it if he has so many enhancements like you say Prince Rast will lead us in a new direction" the young girl pleaded, her voice full of hope yet uncertainty still lingered.
"Protect us?, come on even a believer like you should still obey to facts..., the prince gave in immediately to the empire's offer at an alliance, even though they trampled through our city and murdered the king" the stubborn man spoke, set in the former kings ways.
"So that's what happened, that means this is enemy territory, i better find Shirogane before they find him" Hikaru thought to himself as he disappeared from the citizen's eyes.
But Hikaru learned the truth too late...
Steam exploded from one of the last remaining unharmed sectors.
"Damm it Shirogane" Hikaru dragged his blackite dagger into a combat stance.
Saturn's arrow appeared atop of a lamp post, which was emitting a warm yellow light.
"Saeon's already started eh, he's always so fast to start a fight too bad he takes so long to finish them" Feather drew the meteorite string of her bow back.
And as the hydrogen formed an arrow, Feather took her shot.
The hydrogen arrow igniting as it shot past the bow's flarite tips.
And as the arrow ran into Hikaru, the Zeon attempted to deflect it.
But its still gas after all so touching it physically is impossible.
And finally the hydrogen exploded consuming Hikaru in a smoke screen.
