Chapter 162 - New day, new summons

"Well, all of you did a good job. Here's a discounted coupon for all of you." Patty took out four white coupons from his Space Ring and distributed them to his employees. They looked at the coupon with surprise. They didn't think that they would get a coupon this early and so fast! They only did the bare minimum by showing off their powers.

They even took pleasure in winning the events. After all, who didn't want to win and show everyone how they dominated everyone? It was a very cathartic feeling for them since they were always underestimated and underappreciated by everyone in the school.

It was already a reward for them to be treated like those geniuses. But somehow, Patty still gave them a white discounted coupon!

According to Patty, this was equivalent to 100,000 Chains in cash or 10 Magical Carrots! Those two things were incredibly valuable. The money would change their lives completely. They would be able to send money back to their parents, they would be able to afford anything they wanted, and they could live in luxury.

Meanwhile, the magical carrot was something that money couldn't even buy. No one in the world was selling a carrot capable of advancing a person's cultivation by so much! And even if there was, it certainly wouldn't end up in the hands of someone like them. They felt like they were cheating.

If this continued and they kept eating those carrots, it probably wouldn't even take a year for them to advance to the Visionary realm! That was ridiculously short!

They would even be better than those inheritors who had the support of their large families. They would be better than all those geniuses and prodigies praised in the media. And most of all, they would be one step closer to achieving their dreams!

"Are you sure we can have these?" Andres asked as he carefully looked at the white coupon in his hands.

Patty shrugged. "Yeah, sure."

For Patty, it was a good thing for him to give away those coupons. After all, the system could, at any time, give it away to someone random. This already happened when he was forced to become Xandra's boyfriend because she got ahold of the Do-Everything coupon accidentally.

It was better to give it away now rather than force the system to give it away to others.

At least, Andres and the others thought that those coupons could only give them a small amount of money or carrots. If they wanted, they could ask for 200,000 Chains or 20 carrots. Of course, Patty could deny their request if it got too much, but the point still stood.

Then, Andres and the others pocketed their coupons.

"Huh? Aren't you guys going to use those to redeem some money or some carrots?" Patty asked them.

"This coupon is not for us. It's for our future comrades in the fight against the big dogs." Andres answered, with pride in his words.

Patty was confused. He didn't know what they were walking about. Fight against the big dogs? Were they planning on fighting some lions or something?

Andres and the others already reserved the coupon for their recruits later. Once they were done recruiting some more people to join the Aezure company, then Andres would use the coupon as a reward for the recruits. Anyone who got the coupon would be able to redeem a personalized Teqx from Patty.

That was Andres' plan. He was starting to build up the army he was going to use for the revolution that would change the entire world!

Patty shrugged and simply continued watching the television. After some time, Andres and the others left Patty's room. They walked to the building next to Patty's house and went into their rooms. Their whole setup was barebones, with barely any furniture. But they didn't care.

Patty woke up a very happy man. Why? Well, that was because yesterday was a very relaxing day. All day long, even though he was outside the comfort of his own house, he was relaxed using the massage option of his new mobile chair. Not only was his mental and physical body relaxed, but he was also given a really good benefit.

For each hour he spent using the massage chair, he was regenerating 10 Energy.

All in all, Patty used the chair for 15 hours in total, which meant he had an extra 150 Energy. And with his base of 200 Energy, he had about 350 Energy yesterday.

Of course, he had to spend some energy throughout the day. It turned out that even though he was only sitting down and relaxing, he was still losing some energy. Patty could only guess that it was because of his internal body heat. Every human, even if they don't move at all, still burns energy throughout the day just for the basic body functions like breathing, heart pumping, and all of that.

That subtracted a total of 30 Energy from him, which was an acceptable amount.

Calculating all of that, he had 320 Energy! And with that much energy, he was able to buy as many summon scrolls as he wanted.

320 Energy = 32 Summon Scrolls!

But that's not all. He still had a 17.5% discount because of his Interdimensional Merchant and because of that, yesterday's haul of summon scrolls had a whopping total of 38 summon scrolls!

[Summon Scrolls: 88]

He couldn't believe that he had that many summon scrolls! Now that he had enough scrolls, Patty decided to spend a chunk of them and summon as many as he could! He was going to summon at least 70 summons!

However, just as he said that, the system gave him a notification.

{Mission}

{Requirement}

Sacrifice 25 scrolls to summon 1 S class summon

{Reward}

Nothing

{Punishment}

Nothing

It was the option to get another S-class minion in exchange for a good amount of scrolls. It was a very tempting offer. After all, S-class minions were completely different from the other minions. They had the intelligence to talk like a human, which meant that Patty could easily talk and communicate with them.

He also noticed that S-class minions had a mind of their own. They could think and feel for themselves. They even had their dreams and flaws just like a real human. Of course, they were still fiercely loyal to Patty even if they had their own personality.

Patty was very tempted. After all, S-class minions could do things for him automatically. He didn't have to think about anything. With them, everything was automatic. He didn't have to control them or their powers. Patty could simply ask them to do something and they would do it.

With the other minions, that wasn't possible. They weren't intelligent enough to understand Patty's intentions. Which meant that he would have to control them and their powers if he wanted something done.

There were two choices here. He could get three S-class minions for the price of 75 summon scrolls.

Or, he could take his chance and get 75 individual summons, which usually meant that the highest he would get was an A-class minion.

Both choices were good. Even though he didn't use a lot of the minions or summons he acquired, the citizens of the Virtual World were thankful for all the summons he got. They were also basically citizens of his kingdom, with the other summons having friendships with the Thalls.

Ultimately, what did Patty want? He wanted to be lazy.

And for that to happen, he needed competent people to do their job for him. And it seemed that the best option for that was to surround himself with S-class minions. They were also useful in both worlds. S-class minions could stay in the Virtual World and go into the Real World if Patty needed them.

Unlike other summons who only stayed in the Virtual World, S-class minions were more helpful for Patty since they could be summoned in the real world.

And with that, Patty accepted the mission from the system.

[You have sacrificed 75 summon scrolls to get 3 S class summons]

Patty's system screen changed to that of the summoning ritual. He saw the myriad of stars in the expanse of space. Three stars had a very bright glimmer around them, and they all shot up from their place and presented themselves on the screen. The three were in a triangular formation as they slowly rotated around each other.

The first summon was a very bright-colored blue star, twinkling and beating with a rhythm.

The second summon was a red star, and it felt like Patty was looking at a place filled with lava.

The third was a very sunny yellow, and it had patterns around its surface like that of a sunflower.
