—-------------------
In the Virtual World, the villagers were busy testing out their new powers. They were like little kids who just got their new toys. Slime also wanted to know each of their powers so that he'd know the power capacity of their kingdom.
The Seamstress earned herself the power of Lazeus Weaver, having the ability to summon thread from nowhere and use it to sew any two objects together.
"This is amazing…I was right in trusting Achram." She only thought that she'd get a decent living in the kingdom, but she didn't think that she'd get to experience something that all Thalls dreamed about. She evolved!
With her powers, she was able to sew two wooden logs together. Even with Achram's strength, he wasn't able to separate the two sewed logs. Everyone was surprised. She was already good at being a seamstress, but with her new powers, the products that she'd be able to make would transcend normal quality.
Her two boys, a little bit younger than Uno, had the powers of Lazeus Hydro Master and Lazeus Pryo Master. They were able to summon water and fire from out of thin air, with as little effort as a thought in their minds.
"Cool! I can make it rain!"
"Hehehe! What is is that if I can burn everything!"
The two boys were having fun, fighting with themselves. A cloud of steam and vapor appeared as their two elements collided. Since the two of them were at the same level of power, their elements simply nullified each other.
Next was the blacksmith and his family. True to his profession, the blacksmith's powers enhanced his smithing mastery. Strangely enough, his golden marks didn't appear anywhere near his body, but on his trusted hammer. When he let go of the hammer, the golden marks disappeared.
He had a feeling that he could smith metals with extreme precision. He could probably even enhance a metal smaller than a grain of rice! His powers were called Lazeus Atomic Smith. He didn't know the word 'Atomic', but he had a feeling that it involved the elements.
His wife gained Lazeus Satellite Shout. She found out that she could communicate with anyone she wanted as long as she knew the person. She even felt like she could talk to her husband even if he went back down the mountain!
Her oldest child, Maria, learned the ability of Lazeus Floral Affinity. She achieved her dream of being able to talk to plants and flowers! She could hear their screams for water or sunlight. She even heard them sing in praise for the warmth and comfort they felt in God's kingdom.
Her youngest child, a boy a little bit younger than Uno, gained Lazeus Spear Thrust. Even though he had never held a spear before, he felt a strange mastery over the weapon. He couldn't wait to test it out.
Next was the butcher's family. The butcher gained Lazeus Dismantler. He found out that he was able to dismantle any carcass to its parts without any defects or flaws at all! He could separate the fur coat from a carcass with just one touch. He could cut out the belly of a pig with just one touch!
His wife gained the ability of Lazeus Super Strength. As the name suggested, she could carry tremendously heavy things as if they were as light as paper. She was extremely happy with this.
They had three children, two of which were adults while the youngest was still a girl. The eldest woman gained Lazeus Earthen Wall. The middle child, a male hunter, gained the Lazeus Scent Tracker. The youngest girl earned the ability Lazeus Porcupine Defense, which allowed her to create spikes from his back that could be displaced like an arrow from a bow.
The Archer hunter gained the ability of Lazeus Eagle Eye, which allowed him to see far away with crystal-clear images. It complemented his archery. Meanwhile, his mother earned the ability Lazeus Magnetic Barrier, which allowed her to create a little dome of safety where no projectile could penetrate.
Next was the youthful hunter all by himself. He gained the ability to use the Lazeus Blood Clone. With this ability, he could create his clones using his blood. When he tried it out, he found out he could telepathically connect to his clones and could see what it was seeing. The downside was, it was mentally hard to see two things at once.
Now, it was time for Achram and his family. Rhita gained the ability of Lazeus Architect. She suddenly gained all this knowledge about structures and weight-bearing pillars in an instant. She found it amazing. It was always her dream to create houses in her design, but being a woman and a mother prevented her from doing it.
Next was Dos. She gained the ability to be a Lazeus Knowledge Bearer. She instinctively knew that her powers allowed her to share knowledge with those she touched. If she knew the exact formula to make a healing salve, she could pass down this knowledge to someone clueless like Uno, and he'd be able to know how to make it!
Tres gained the ability of Lazeus Glutton. "Yes! I can eat everything!" she said as she suddenly took a bite of a rock on the ground. Her teeth tore through the stone as if it was meat. She closed her eyes, and magically, her skin turned into stone!
"Quatro, my son. What powers did you get?" Achram asked.
The little boy then said, "Lazeus Prescience," in the cutest voice possible. "I can see the future!"
Achram and the rest of the family were surprised.
Uno asked, "You can? How will I die?"
"Hehehe, silly big bro. I can't see that far!"
Uno scoffed. "Hmm, maybe it's just some other powers. Whatever. It still isn't as good as my sword skills!"
"Whatever powers we now have, it doesn't matter as long as we stick together!"
The whole Achram family and the rest of the citizens rejoiced with their new powers. The joy they felt was because of two things: first was because of their evolution and their new powers, and second was because they felt vindicated in their belief in Achram. They were right to brave the risks and dangers of trekking up the mountain.
Now, they lived in a magical paradise where they could get food and water without any worries.
"Okay, new citizens!" Slime announced. "Now that all of you have warmed up to your new powers it is now time to put them to good use."
Slime then pointed to the empty lands inside the kingdom. There were only a few buildings in the kingdom, mostly just structures that were from Patty's consumable summons. However, there was no place for the new citizens to sleep in.
"The whole kingdom is yours to take. As long as you build your house and territory inside, then it is yours!"
The new citizens looked over to the rest of the kingdom and they couldn't believe the freedom they would be getting. This was God's kingdom, yet they were allowed to build their houses anywhere they wanted. They couldn't believe the God of Icy Rock's generosity.
"You see that forest over there? You can cut down any of those trees to use for your houses. Don't worry, they'll regenerate overnight." Everyone looked at the Forest of Arcadia and saw those sturdy-looking trees perfect for use in their houses.
"If you want a little bit more metal in your house, then you're more than free to go to the mines!" Slime then pointed to the mine entrance.
Slime thought that they'd immediately try to take up the best spot in the kingdom, but instead, the adults in the group all converged and spoke to each other. Since this was a private discussion, Slime didn't intervene. He let them plan whatever they wanted.
After a few minutes…
"Slime, we have decided that we want to establish a system. My wife, Rhita, will plan all of the housing and territory for everyone."
Rhita nodded and looked at the horizon. "I can see it now, houses lined up in a neat and orderly way. We can't just build our houses anywhere. We have to plan for the future when more Thalls decide to come here and migrate."
Slime was surprised that she was thinking that far ahead. He was impressed.
"The men and women capable of work will be in charge of gathering materials such as wood from the forest and iron from the mines. Then, the Seamstress and the Blacksmith will be in charge of molding them into something that can be used for housing. Once that is done, everyone will help in construction!"
The adults all decided their jobs in this project, each one contributing their skills and their new powers to help out.
"Um…father? What about us?" Uno asked, with the rest of the kids behind him.
Achram simply said, "Well, you train."
