Patty woke up in a great mood once again. Yesterday was a great day since he got a really good way to get richer. Not only that, he bought a massage chair with wheels! How could he not be in a great mood? He could finally go to other places without having to walk by himself or have someone push his chair–not that Patty would want to go out of his bed. But it was good that he had that option.
{Mission}
{Requirement}
• Go to school
{Reward}
• 400 Minion Growth Crystals
{Do you want to accept the mission? Y/N}
As expected of the system, it found the only way to dampen his spirits. Here he was enjoying the fact that he had the day all by himself, doing nothing, studying nothing, and dealing with no one. But suddenly, he was hit with another mission to go to school. If it was back then, he would simply ignore it.
However, the system recently got an update. Whenever he rejected a mission, he would be hit with a penalty. And that penalty gave him a 'Patty's Do-Everything Coupon' which allowed other people to give Patty a mission that he could not deny. If he failed to complete that mission, he would be hit with an instant death.
That was way too much of a punishment but at least it gave Patty a really good reward once he finished those coupon missions. He would receive the Seraph of Lazarus coupon which he would be able to recover instantly from fatal injuries and such. It was basically another life. If the system didn't give him at least that, then Patty would riot.
The problem now was what Patty would do. Should he go to school and avoid the coupon or should he keep being stubborn and lazy? The answer was pretty simple.
"You'll never change me, system! I will always be lazy!" Patty said as he picked the no option on the mission.
{Penalty}
{1x Patty's Do-Everything Coupon (Absolute)}
{OR}
{5x Patty's Do-Everything Coupon (Discount)}
Instead of just getting the coupon, Patty was given two choices. He could either get the coupon that gave him a mission to the death, or 5 more coupons with a discount. He didn't know what that discount meant. And when he tried to ask the system, it would hit him with another silent treatment.
The only thing that he knew was that the absolute coupon meant certain death when he couldn't complete the mission. Even though he had the Seraph of Lazarus coupon, he didn't know if it would save him from that punishment. Patty didn't want to die, so he was leaning towards the other option even if it meant that he would get 5 of those discount coupons.
{You have received 5x Patty's Do-Everything Coupon (Discount)}
A system screen popped up on his face that showed 5 tickets stacked together. This time, the coupons were printed on white paper. The absolute coupon that he had back then was black, giving an ominous feeling. Which, in hindsight, made sense since death could follow if he didn't complete the mission.
This new discount coupon was colored white and had golden writing embossed on the paper itself. Only the title was inscribed in the coupon, and nothing else. It didn't have any description on it, which was good news because he didn't want other people to know about the magical properties of this coupon. He wanted it to look useless in front of other people so they wouldn't know that he would be forced to complete their mission.
[Patty's Do-Everything Coupon (Discount)]
[Description]
This is a discounted version of the original coupon. This coupon allows other people to issue a mission to the user, however, the user will not be punished with death if the mission fails. The user will instead feel a heavy debuff by halving the user's energy by half in one day. The user can get rid of the energy debuff by paying with Yi Power.
Patty wasn't happy with the energy debuff, but it was so much better than death. This was a much better coupon than the absolute one. After all, he could also get rid of the debuff by using his Yi Power, which he had an abundance of. The only problem was that he had 5 of these, which meant that he would have to do five missions instead of one. This was very exhausting, but he had no choice. His only hope was that it would give him good rewards if he was able to complete the missions.
Now that he was done with that, he needed a little pick-me-up. He immediately went over to the internet and ordered a bucketful of boneless fried chicken that was honey garlic-flavored. He loved this food, but he wasn't always able to buy it because of his budget. Now that he had a lot of money, it was now time to splurge.
After a few minutes, the drone knocked on his door and dropped off the chicken. Patty voluntarily got off his bed walked a few steps and reached the door. When he opened, the smell of fresh fried chicken entered his nose. His stomach grumbled. He couldn't remember how long he had lived without eating one of these. Usually, he would just sustain himself with cup noodles or bread, but now, he could eat anything he wanted.
Once he got the bucket of chicken, he laid back down on his bed. Even though he was extremely hungry, he didn't eat it yet. Instead, he opened the television and watched some long videos that he could watch while eating. He put on a reaction video of all the hype moments on the new Space Invaders episode.
Time passed as he finished the bucket of chicken. Then, he got a notification from the system.

Now that he was satisfied, he decided to have another summoning session. After all, he still had 44 summon scrolls in total. He went over to the summoning tab and touched it. The system screen changed to a depiction of a myriad of stars, each having different sizes and colors, floating in a black void of space.
[10x summon. Cost: 9x summon scroll]
He picked the 10x summon option which only cost him 9 summon scrolls. Immediately, all the stars shot up and converged at the top of the screen. The joining of all these stars led to a giant white light at the top of the screen. Soon before all of the stars joined their brethren in the white light, the ball started to shake and tremble, as if it was about to explode from being filled to the brim.
As soon as the last star entered the white light, a huge explosion of color and light burst out from the giant white light. The rest of the stars fell back to where they were before, but ten of them deviated and floated in a circle right in front of Patty. This was the point where he could get a sneak peek of what he got.
Stars glowing in a dim white or gray light usually meant that they were F-class summons. He would usually get a few of those in each summon.
Stars glowing in either red, yellow, or blue light meant that they were in the range of D-class to B-class. The only difference was that the brighter and bigger the star, the more rare it was, and the higher class the summon was. This time too, he got a few of these normal summons.
Patty was looking over the stars to see if he got any good summons this time, and his eyes landed on a yellow star that was a rectangular shape that was as thin as paper. This unique shape meant that it was much more rare than the others. Not only that, it had golden glitter orbiting it, with some streaking out as it revolved around in a circle with the others.
"Yes! An A-class summon!" Patty rejoiced.
A-class summons meant that he would be able to partially summon them in the real world, like the Muscava fly. Unlike those D-class to B-class summons, these rare A-class summons could give him something real, something that he could use in the real world. It wasn't that the normal summons was bad, it was just that their powers only worked in the Virtual World. A-class summons didn't have that restriction.
After a few seconds of floating in a circle, the 10 new summons entered Patty's mind and finally joined the other summons.
