Patty wanted to immediately go out there and exchange all of these Kores for money. He was like a kid who couldn't wait to open his presents underneath the tree and sneaked out in the middle of the night to open them. Even though he didn't have the money yet, he was already thinking of all the things he could buy with that money.
First of all, he would want a bigger television screen. Then, he would buy a gaming pod with full immersion so that he could play all the high-definition immersion games that were so popular these days. He would save up some of the money to make sure that he had food delivered every day–he no longer had to subsist on cup noodles or cereal! Next, he would probably hire a personal butler to drive him to and from school.
There were so many things in the world that would make his life so much easier. He decided to go onto the internet and look up all the things he could buy with 700,000 Chains.
He got onto the internet and saw an ad for a new bed that was designed with the capabilities of cooling or heating and an additional mode that acted as a personal massage for better sleep. This was what he needed! He remembered that he could regenerate his energy for as long as he was relaxed.
Next was the latest gaming pod with the new technology that allowed a person to be immersed in a game for 24 hours straight! This was the pod that professional gamers used in their streams. He thought it was a total luxury, but now that he could buy it, it suddenly turned into a necessity.
Or if he wanted to splurge on the most expensive thing he could buy with all the money he had, there was the option of purchasing the new hover car that the Einstein company released with full capabilities of self-navigating through thousands of miles across entire oceans nonstop.
These were the purchases of someone who had the money. For Patty though, he didn't need them that much. There were other items online that were heavily advertised to people who were Dreamers. For example, there was the all-new gym equipment tailor-made for people wanting better records at their Track and Field meets.
Patty did not need this, but it was interesting to see how much people spend on equipment that made them marginally better physically. Patty had his Tendora minion. He didn't have to do anything, and the minion would give him 22 Yi Power every day.
It suddenly made him realize how impressive Yi Power was. Athletes spent at least 30 hours in the gym every week, just for their strength to increase by a magnitude of 0.1. For them, that was an impressive pace that everyone would be jealous of. But for Patty, he could earn 20 Yi Power every day just lying down on his bed.
He also remembered the Magical Rabbit Farmer who could make magical carrots as long as Patty sacrificed Yi Power to it. These carrots would give 1 permanent Yi Power to anyone who consumed them. If this carrot were to go public on the internet, then it would immediately cause chaos as they tried to get it for themselves.
He could certainly earn a ton of money using that, but that would also attract unwanted attention to himself. For now, he decided to keep the carrots to himself and just sell the Kores because those were less inconspicuous. High-purity Kores already existed here, so it wouldn't be weird if Patty suddenly got a hold of them.
Patty searched the internet for any place that he could sell the Kores. He had to sift through page after page, but he could only see places that traded Kores with less than 10% pure Kores. He couldn't even trade high-quality Kores over the internet because there were a lot of counterfeit and fake Kores around.
"Master, are you trying to sell Kores off the internet?" the slime popped out of his screen and hopped on his shoulders.
"I'm trying, but I can't."
"It's not ideal to sell these precious resources to an unknown entity, Master. People won't believe that an unknown user like you has such high purity Kore, and if they do, they might track your location down and steal from you," warned the Slime.
Patty knew that too, but he didn't know how to sell the Kores online. "My best bet is to go to the bank and exchange Kores there."
The Diplomatic Slime shook its jelly body. "You shouldn't, Master. The bank might get suspicious of you and start an investigation on how you obtained such high purity Kore."
"How do you know that?" Patty asked. For a minion that came out of nowhere, he seemed to know a lot about the ways of humanity.
"Of course, I should know, Master. My title as a Diplomatic Slime is at stake! If we ever make contact with another kingdom or civilization, it is my job to make sure that we don't accept unfair deals or shady connections. Things like these are my forte, Master. I have to make sure that you are doing deals that are favorable to you and your kingdom."
Patty didn't know that the Diplomatic Slime thought that far ahead. But it was still an S-class minion after all, so he should have expected the minion to be extremely good at its job.
"Then what should I do?"
"We must find an established connection, someone we can trust to offload the Kores, Master."
"Uh huh…how am I going to do that?"
The slime went meek for a second and said, "You have to go out, Master…you have to find someone in dire need of Kores and introduce yourself as a supplier."
The lazy Patty immediately said, "No. I'd rather get scammed."
"But you only need to do it once, Master," assured Slime. "Once you have established that you can provide a good product, then you don't have to go out and look for more anymore!"
Patty's lazy bone didn't want him to go out, but he also wanted to sell the Kores and earn a lot of money. If he sold off the Kores and got a lot of money, he could be even lazier in the future. It was a conundrum in his brain as old as time. Did he want to be lazy now, or did he want to be lazy in the future?
"Urgh…I won't look for anyone. I'm too lazy for that. I'll just have to hope that I meet someone who buys Kores."
The Slime knew that there was only a small chance of that happening, but he couldn't oppose his Master. After all, he knew best. The Slime was just a lowly S-class minion while his Master was a being that transcended that.
"I'll just sleep it off and hopefully my problem will be solved tomorrow." Patty was exhibiting the natural procrastination habits of lazy people. Instead of actively trying to solve his problem, he was postponing it tomorrow hoping that things would change and his problem would be magically solved without his intervention.
But before he went off to sleep, he made sure to use up all of his Yi Power and Minion Growth Crystals.

He also gave 10 Yi Power to the Magical Rabbit Farmer just to try it out. When he looked over at the Virtual World, he saw the Rabbit making its territory away from everybody where it could cultivate its carrots in a plot of land. It even hissed at Slime and Flamie as they tried to see what it was trying to do.
For his MGCs, he decided to level up his Muscava Cyclo to level 20 so that he would have 20 seconds of slowed time. If Fiends could appear anywhere at any time, this slow-time ability could save his life again.
[A-class Muscava Cyclo]
[Level: 20/70]
[Growth Crystal Required for Level Up: 220]
[Ability: slow time for 20 seconds]
This left him with 3,065 MGCs
And since he had enough MGCs anyway, he decided to use the rest of it to level up the Tendora minion. It was his oldest minion, so this upgrade was a long time coming.
[D-class Tendora]
[Level: 26/30]
[Growth Crystal Required for Level Up: 360]
[Ability: 36 Yi/day]
Although it wasn't enough to level it up to the max, he slept soundly knowing that he would earn another 3200 Minion Growth Crystals tomorrow.
