The Fiendish Armament proved its strength when it almost killed Patty when it just barely grazed his back. The unscientific and magical properties of the weapon allowed it to multiply Griff's strength into something that was beyond the means of a teenager. After all, this was a weapon that was normally only used by licensed and professional Dreamers who knew how to wield a dangerous weapon like this.
Even Patty's seemingly invincible skin cannot handle powers of this magnitude. Physically, Patty might have peaked to the best that humans could possibly achieve, but in terms of the magical properties that the Fiendish Armament had, he was as defenseless a mortal human. He simply hadn't cultivated that kind of strength like those of university students and pro Dreamers.
But instead of worrying, Patty was mad. He got really furious at Griff.
'Now what will you do, Patty? Will you continue to stand your ground or will you prove yourself to be a traitor?!' Griff said.
What did that imply? Did he just say that Patty will be forced to take a step away from his position? Did he think that Patty would be so worried about his own health so much that he would magically become energetic and lively? Did he just say that Patty would stop being lazy just because he would die? Did he not know that Patty would keep being lazy even if it killed him right now?
If Griff was able to think of that, then others must also think so. This would mean that people still don't believe that Patty was lazy! He thought that he made it clear to everyone, friend or enemy, that he was the laziest person there ever lived. But as it turned out, nobody really believed him. They might describe him as lazy, but they still think of him as a normal human who strived to be a busy bee if pushed under extreme circumstances.
And what did he mean by being a traitor? Why was that even a question? If he can be lazy, then he will become the best hero in the entire world. If he can be lazy, then he will turn against the whole of humanity and become a traitor! Did Griff think that he wasn't capable of doing that?
If that was true, then he had been doing it all wrong! He wasn't being lazy enough! He vowed then and there that he would strive to become even more lazier than he was before. Griff questioned his whole being, his whole personality, and his whole life! This was an affront like no other. It infuriated him so much that he forgot that a Fiendish Armament was headed straight for his chest.
He should have been using this slowed time to think about how to get out of this situation. He should have been moving his body to at least mitigate the destruction from the Fiendish Armament. He should have been trying to save his own life! But no. He didn't think. He didn't want to. He wanted to prove a point that he would be lazy by not even thinking about his actions.
Then, his mind snapped. Just like before, when pushed to the extremes of wanting to do something and wanting to be lazy, his brain crashed and he moved without any thought.
He raised his hand, as if he wanted to try and catch the Fiendish Armament with his bare hands.
Griff was surprised that Patty was idiotic enough to try and do this. The result would still be the same. As long as the Armament hit his skin, his arm would only be bashed into his own chest, and be buried deep within his ribcage until his heart is crushed into bits. He would still die. This was a magical weapon that cannot be described or caught by common sense.
The system supplemented Patty's actions by manipulating the stats in his body
[Physique]
[Yi Power: 402]
[Head: 100/100]
[Left Arm: 40/100]
[Right Arm: 40/100]
[Torso: 40/100]
[Left Leg: 40/100]
[Right Leg: 40/100]
Without Patty even doing anything, the system used up all of his remaining Yi Power and upgraded every one of his body parts until all of them were at the maximum amount.
[Physique]
[Head: 100/100]
[Left Arm: 100/100]
[Right Arm: 100/100]
[Torso: 100/100]
[Left Leg: 100/100]
[Right Leg: 100/100]
His entire body was 100 times much stronger and tougher than a normal human. His muscles didn't look as defined as most body-builders, but the density in his muscle far exceeded that of steel but still retained the flexibility needed to push and contract the tendons. He could be nearly impervious to any human-made mortal weapons aside from atomic bombs! If he was transported to the time when humans were still in their electronic age and Teqx hadn't been discovered, he would be immortal amongst all men.
But this was not the end of his cultivation journey. This was merely the start.

Patty had no idea that all of this was happening. His head was simply empty and devoid of any thoughts, good or bad. He didn't think about his own death, he didn't think about how he was going to avoid it. He simply raised his hand without knowing what it would do.
"Are you saying I'm not lazy…" Patty muttered as he grasped something from the air.
He was just going to ignore Patty, but then his arm hairs stood on end. He immediately knew something was wrong. A Fiendish Armament was supposed to feel like he was riding a Fiend. It was fighting him for control at every second he had it in his hands. His palm skin melted into the black handle, the blood in his hands boiled from the heat, and his veins bulged to the point of of explosion.
He could barely lift the Armament up his head. If it weren't from his willpower and adrenaline flowing in his body to push his strength to the very limit, he would have passed out a long time ago. He was not equipped to handle this weapon. If he forced himself to use it for too long, then he would lose the ability to use his hand.
That was what he felt. However, when Patty raised his hand and grabbed the air, everything changed. He could no longer feel the Fiend fighting him. In fact, he could feel his control over the weapon become more and more dominant. There could only be one reason this happened: the Fiendish Armament was losing its power.
Griff's eyes widened as he felt resistance in his swing. There was nothing between him and Patty, but somehow, there was an invisible barrier that prevented the weapon from advancing any further. It felt like he was going through a very viscous gel that sucked all the energy out of his swing.
It didn't take long for the Armament to stop dead in its tracks. Griff used his entire body weight to push the weapon deeper, but it was of no use. Somehow, without even touching it, Patty had it in its grasp, with the Fiendish Armament surrendering and lowering its ferocity like an animal who faced a much bigger alpha monster.
"This…this…can't be…this can't be happening!!" he shouted. Griff was using a Fiendish Armament for Supreme's sake! There wasn't supposed to be anything that stopped its powers. And certainly not stopped by nothing but air! How was Patty doing this?!
Patty then closed his hand slowly, with his fingers trembling to exert enough power. The Fiendish Armament suddenly started shaking in response. Griff didn't know what was happening. He didn't know what to do.
He watched helplessly as black club that was as big as a human torso started to crack. The blue lightning that surrounded it became thinner and thinner until it dissipated into the air. Its power was no longer present. It cannot be felt. It didn't take long as those cracks started to chip and splinter as the trembling got more intense.
"I'm not lazy?! I AM LAZY!" Patty howled as he closed his hand abruptly.
SHTOOOOOO
The Fiendish Armament exploded into a cloud of prismatic dust, its ferocity and danger no longer present. With just a light breeze from the air, everything was swept away into the wind, leaving no trace that there even used to be a Fiendish Armament at all.
Griff fell down to his knees, his face the look of defeat. There was no explanation for this kind of power. This was not a show of power, but a show of magic and impossibility.
He had to accept defeat. He was physically, emotionally, philosophically, and mentally defeated beyond all reasonable doubt.
