Patty couldn't believe his eyes. Was this real life? Was he truly seeing dazzling amounts of Teqx up for sale like it was just an ordinary watch or mug being sold on the streets? Was it the same Teqx that people would slave themselves for with a company for years on end just to get a chance to obtain one of these Teqx. Was this real life?
As he looked at the different Teqx in the Power section, he realized that all of them were either in the F class or D class category. This wasn't considered to be good because the powers you can get from these kinds of Teqx will be very basic. Usually, these would only give you power in one of your body parts, like the Arms of Aluminum would only affect his arms, leaving him vulnerable in most of his body parts.
However, that did not mean they were completely useless. It only meant that they had to start from the very bottom. If one worked hard enough or one was talented enough, they could turn an F-class Teqx ability into something that can compete with the world-level companies. This was proven multiple times in the history of the world. However the people who were able to complete this feat could be counted on two arms at most, so billions of people who wanted to end up like that were deluding themselves. It was almost impossible.
It was so much better to have higher class Teqx because you basically had an advantage against the millions of people who had lower class Teqx than you. If the journey to fulfilling your dream was a staircase that led to heaven, then people who had F-class Teqx had to start at the very bottom, while A-class Teqx started tens of thousands of steps above.
But, it was not possible to have everyone have A-class Teqx. Even C-class Teqx were considered average and good enough to live a luxurious life. So most people were stuck with either D or F class. And even they were considered quite lucky. After all, not even everyone gets a chance to have a Teqx.
So even if F-class Teqx were considered trash, millions of people would still sell their souls just to get a chance to win that Teqx.
So imagine Patty's surprise to see these Teqx sold in the system store just like that. Even large companies don't sell low class Teqx like this because their leaders only have a limited amount of Teqx they can give out. They could either give out 1,000 F-class Teqx or 1 B-class Teqx. Almost every company would choose to save up and get that 1 B-class Teqx. They learned from history and other successful companies that quality was always better than quantity.
Also, that 1 B-class Teqx user had a much better chance of becoming a high level Dreamer than the 1000 F-class Teqx users combined. Not to mention the amount of resources the company would have to give the thousands of F-class Teqx users in their group, it would be so much better if they just pool all that resources into one person because that would have a better chance of being paid off.
Patty looked at all the myriad of F-class and D-class Teqx in the list, all ready to be bought and sold. It was endless. And judging from the system's wording, he didn't seem to have any restriction on how much he can buy. That would mean that as long as he had enough money, he can buy all of these Teqx!
He didn't know what he would do with all that, but the fact that he could do it was mind blowing. He picked the very first one just to see how much it would cost.
[F-class Ample Abs Teqx]
[Description]
• A Red Power Teqx that gives its user the power to make their abdominal muscles duplicate and multiply. This will give superhuman core strength, stability, and stamina to its user. As the amount of muscles increases, the harder and harder it gets to multiply it. The limit depends on the user's ability.
[Cost: 1000 Credits]
Just 1000 Credits! He had enough Credits right now to buy this if he wanted to! That was insane! If someone wanted to get this Teqx from a company, they would probably have to go through all sorts of hoops and obstacles just to join the company, then they would have to experience a year of internship, and if they somehow won that, they would have to sign a contract which basically guarantees that you would be working for that company for as long as you lived.
Of course, Patty didn't need this Teqx. And even if he wanted to, he couldn't use it. He already had a Teqx, which was this system itself, so he couldn't merge with any Teqx anymore. When he thought about it, this system was quite a sadist. It showed him this myriad of Teqx that he can buy without any strings attached, knowing full well that he couldn't use any of the Teqx it showed. Did it just want Patty to suffer?
Why would he even buy a Teqx if he can't even use it?
But then he remembered. There was someone who desperately needed a Teqx. Grammo needed a Voice Box Teqx. Yesterday, they went through all of that trouble to try and win the competition just to lose and fail to get that Voice Box Teqx. He thought they were done for. He thought the ending of this bet was their inevitable expulsion from the school because of the bet.
But now he held the solution in his hands! He quickly exited the Power tab and selected the Fame tab
[Fame]
• F-class Agile Arms
• F-class Aesthetic Eyes
• F-class Alluring Voice
• …
Patty scrolled through the very long list of Teqx until he finally reached the V section of the list. Lo and behold, sitting right there in the middle of D-class Vernacular Alphabet and D-class Violet Hair was;
[D-class Voice Box]
[Description]
• A Blue Fame Teqx that gives its users the ability to modify the tone and pitch of their Voice with perfect accuracy and control.
[Cost: 3000 Credits]
There it was! The thing that would solve all their problems. With this Voice Box Teqx, Grammo will finally be able to sing the way he wanted. He will finally be unlocking his singing talent and be able to surprise his classmates with his amazing singing! He could just imagine the professor's face when he realized that he had just lost their bet.
Yes! This was the way to win! With this Teqx, he would be able to skip the Physicality Tests!
Patty decided to use all of his Minion Growth Crystals to level up the Interdimensional Merchant because he just recalled its ability: discount. With Patty having very low funds on his Credit bank, even a small discount was appreciated.

The Interdimensional Merchant might be the best thing he had ever gotten. It was able to open up all these kinds of stores that would literally cause a global disaster with how in-demand these items were. He was thankful that he did so much stuff yesterday. If he hadn't done all that stuff with Grammo, then he wouldn't be able to complete all 15 missions and win a summon scroll that eventually gave him this minion.
They might not have won the competition, but they won the bet anyways–that is if he can buy this Teqx.
Unfortunately, he still didn't have enough Credits to buy it right now. He only had 2100 Credits right now, which meant he was still lacking 900 Credits, which was not a small amount. He wished that he had a minion that could somehow mine or farm Credits. If the Tendora minion was able to give him Yi Power every day, then it wasn't farfetched to think that a minion could give him Credits every day.
Calm down, Patty thought to himself. His gambler blood almost risked it all right there and was tempted to use energy to buy one summon scroll. If he was able to win the bet against the professor, then he would get 20 summon scrolls
Thankfully, he still had 6 days left to hopefully get that much Credits.

• Go to school
[Reward]

Like the system read his mind, it found the right incentive for Patty to go to school. He really needed that 500 Credits right now, so he would be forced to go to school. Since it was so generous, Patty decided to let it be.
