Connor walked briskly into a building. He looked around feeling the emptiness it held and sighed going down the stairs leading to an underground basement. This place was a "keep- off " from other people. The basement had a lock and he put in the code leading to a very steep stairway. He went in and finally sighed when he got there.
"Mr Hagerty", Connor said and the man turned smiling. " I prefer doctor Hagerty", he said and they laughed.
"The package is ready, I assume", he said and Hagerty smiled.
"Sure. This baby shoots like lightning. When the predator gets angry and wants to attack it shocks it to submission". Connor nodded.
"Bring the bad bitch, Austin!" He ordered and the young Austin who seemed to always be beside him nodded and left.
"Heard you want to bring that monster down"
"Who doesn't, it's a threat to humanity"
Doctor Hagerty laughed uncontrollably.
Scientists are a weird set of people.
"No no no. The question you should be asking is what brought this creature out of its hiding place, Con. It wasn't here till one day poof! It destroys Nestle lake and after ten years attacks a slaughterhouse", he said showing his teeth.
He, Hagerty, wasn't much of an old man, he was nearing his late sixties but was still vibrant when it came to doing weird experiments. He had dedicated his life to work that he had no love life or time for himself.
"I tell you, something is brewing for such a creature to appear all of a sudden. I bet if you destroy the source of it's problem, it'll keep itself silent and out of site"
Connor rolled his eyes. "Get the damn package". He laughed weirdly though Connor heard a sinister laugh. He sighed and grabbed the box when Austin returned.
"I'll leave", he said and turned to go, not waiting for a reply. "You know, that girl you met ten years ago, I bet she was right… you can never tell, Connor", he said laughing.
Connor thought about it. For once, Hagerty was right. That monster… when he was tailing it, it suddenly disappeared and he saw a woman kneeling beside a bloody woman.

Jayson sat with some elite people, they were discussing the company election that was coming soon. He drank quietly, his mind not in what they were saying. He was thinking about Jacob and Cordelia. That darn woman didn't like him one bit and it wasn't a surprise she was still in Paris even though Iris wasn't.
Cordelia had branded him and tortured him while his master, Iris, fled to God knows where . She had tortured him to the extent that he wished only to die until one day, he could control his abilities.

He remembered Iris telling him that and when his abilities surfaced, it was crazy that he destroyed quite a number of places and as Cordelia would put it caused the first ever tsunami that wasn't recorded in history…
"Mr Jayson, do you agree?"
"Ye… yes", he said, a little startled. Suddenly,his phone rang and he excused himself. He answered the call without looking at the caller ID.
"Who's this? I'm busy…"
"Jayson obike" the person said through the phone which made him freeze. His breathing changed and the weather became dull as if it were about to rain.
"Cor… Cordelia", he finally said as his phone dropped to the ground and broke.

"I'm leaving Paris", Cordelia said to the man who was always following her and would trust her no matter what. "But, you haven't caught those cunning brat", he said and she took him by surprise kissing his closed lips slightly. " Always have a plan A, B and C"
"And if all fails what would happen?" He asked quite concerned. She smiles and kisses him again this time he parted his lips as she caressed him, he tugs at her dress and she laughs.
"I'll miss my flight if I do that", she said and turned to leave. "And if plan C fails, kill every damn thing you see … simply resort to violence even though that's my plan A, B and C" she laughed and he nodded.
Time to catch some damn foxes.

Iris sits on the ground using a tree to rest. Her life had been fucked up and she didn't want to do anything about it. Jacob had stopped calling and it bothered her and Cordelia…
"Iris". Someone called and she turned. It was Zach.
What the fuck is he doing here.
He sat beside her and closed his eyes. Everywhere was quite tranquil and awkward and it was making her feel uncomfortable. He finally sighed.
"How did you do it?" He asked and she seemed surprised. "Do what?"
"That darn woman chased you round the Earth just to kill you and here you are alive and I freaking found you in a party", he said and she laughed. "Well I kept running and had people to fight for me ", she said but he wasn't convinced.
"Don't you think things have been going on quite too peacefully", he said and she nodded.
"I noticed and you know, it sometimes bothers me that things are peaceful. I mean my enemy is clearly out there searching for me, but here I am going to parties and sleeping so soundly.
Zach looked at her and smiled. "Maybe I should stick with you", he said and she smiled a little. "You fucking left me at the peak of my ecstasy". He looked at her and wanted to say something until he saw her eyes turn black and as quickly as possible she kills a baby cheetah. She looked at her nails all bloody and dirty.
"I thought you'd turn to that monster", he said and she shook her head.
"Only human blood"
"What's a cheetah doing here?" She asked, looking around. He shrugged. "Must have escaped the zoo or something", he said and she grinned.
"I think the guard is coming. Let's get out of here", she said and he nodded.
Things were so peaceful that it brought about worry… .

Lucy sat in the park quietly eating her ice cream. "Lucy", someone said and she looked up to see Mr Connor.
"Oh, Mr Connor, what are you doing here?" She asked and he sat down beside her.
"I just wanted us to talk"
"About what?" She asked, confused. He sighed. "I was there when that beast devoured that man", he said and her eyes widened.
Has Iris been found out?
"Well, I started following it because it ran away and then it suddenly disappeared and what I saw was a young woman kneeling beside a bloody old lady. When I interrogated the old lady she said she doesn't remember anything", he mopped his brows looking worried.
"I couldn't believe it at first but when I saw that beast it looked half human to me like you know in those silly stories, werewolves and the rest". Lucy shook her head.
"Forget it. All those things aren't true", she said but he grinned though worried.
"I just want you to be safe and if you see any strange movement remember to alert me", he said and she nodded.
Mr Connor patted her and left. "Oh fuck you Iris", she muttered. She was too reckless and that wasn't good.
