Chapter 1 - -Prologue-

We start our story in a deep and inky void where no smells, sounds, and lights can exist. But if we look closely we can see a wandering wisp of light float aimlessly and mumbling in this void.

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

???: 17,347 bottles of beer on the wall, 17,347 bottles of beer, take one down, pass it around, 17,346 bottles of beer on the wall...

Hello! As you can see I have spent quite a while here. I started with 1,000,000 bottles of beer on the wall so yeah, I've been here a while.

Anyway how rude of me let me introduce myself. My names David and I died.

No I'm not kidding you or pulling your leg. I actually died. In a pretty cliche way as well might I add.

I had burned to death and inhaled so much smoke I could be mistaken for the exhaust of a drag car.

Some might ask, "Well why didn't you quickly leave the building?", and I say to that because I was 1. On the top floor, and 2. I was barricaded in my room by falling debris.

Can you think about that for a second. Being stuck in an inescapable situation and not being able to do anything about it. It suck, but it's already over. I'm already dead and I've been here for a while.

I'm not too sad about it because in truth I was just your everyday guy who enjoyed video games and other forms of entertainment same as others and went to work an average 9-5 through the week.

My favorite games being Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Doom: Eternal, and good old Terraria and Minecraft. I'm only sad about the fact I didn't finish my Legendary world on Terraria.

David: 17,340 bottles of beer on the wall, 17,340 bottles of beer, take one down, pass it down, 17,339 bottles of beer...

-A long while later-

David: 1 bottle of beer on the wall, 1 last bottle of beer, take it down, chug it on down, now there's no bottles of beer on the wall... Welp I finished all the bottles of beer so I have officially been here for too long. But what's that?

Where he looks he sees a bright, white door glowing in the darkness a little ways away. So he starts floating his way over there to inspect how it just suddenly appeared here.

When he was in front of the door he realizes it looks like an ordinary door, that's in a blank void where nothing exists...

David: Yeah that's a little suspicious, but I have nothing better to do so OPEN SESAME!

And with that he opens the door and ventures in without noticing the door in the void sits t fade until it was as if it was never there in the first place and the void was once more containing nothing.

On the inside it looked like a normal office space that your boss would call you into. Even the motivation posters were the same.

He looks around and notices a bell on the desk that looks like something in a hotel to get someone's attention. It had a note under it which read, "Ring for an Audience with #$%@^#%.", and the name was in a jar bled mess that he couldn't understand.

David: Well almost anything beats being stuck alone in an endless void. *ding ding*

As he rings the bell a light starts to gather in the chair across from David l, collecting to or a humanoid shape that seems more blank than one would expect.

The person it formed looks like a person in a pure white suit having inky black skin much like the void he was in, with white glowing eyes that seemed to stare into your should the were that piercing.

After he was done being formed he introduced himself.

#$%@^#%: Hello there sir, how may I help you?

David: Um, Hello? Who are you and what are you?

#$%@^#%: Well you could just call me The Helper cause that's my job, as for what I am I am just a helper created to, well, help people.

David: Okay, where is this?

The Helper: This is the Reincarnation Roulette Office or the RRO for short.

David: Well, then I guess my next question is why am I here?

The Helper: You are here because you were randomly chosen to experience reincarnation like others who don't have enough karma to get a definite choice.

David: What, reincarnation like those in stories? Like taking me to different worlds?

The Helper: Yes, so ate you ready to pull the lever?

As he says this a slot machine looking contraption appears with 3 slots and a lever. He goes over to guide you to the machine.

The Helper: The first slot decides your world, the seconds decides how your there like rebirth, gaining conscienceness at 4, etc. and the last picks what your role is there. Of course you can change it through hard work, but this is like a starting point. So you ready to pull the lever?

David: Okay, thanks for the explanation, and yes I am ready.

After he says this he pulls the lever and the spinning begins.

A few seconds later the slots start slowing down one after another.

The Helper: Your world is... Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

David: 'That's good I know about the game and some key points to either avoid or profit from.'

The Helper: You will... gain conscienceness at 4.

David: 'Okay that's not to bad, I'll just have to watch how I act to not collect suspicion.'

The Helper: And finally you will take the place of... Link himself.

David:... 'That's both fantastic and worrying... but whatever I'M LINK HIMSELF!'

The Helper: I hope your happy with your choices, but I need to send you down so any last words?

David: Nope I'm happy with this, of course it could've been way worse and thank you.

The Helper: No problem its my job.

After The Helper says this David falls through a portal and awaits the time he wakes up and shakes the kingdom of Hyrule by being a person whose blade is sharp enough to cleave through the darkness.
