Chapter 10 - Malwai Military!

The battle of Sarzapur has begun between two nations, the Muvah Army and the Malwai Military. But was this the original plan of the Muvah? Were they truly convinced of capturing such a seemingly worthless city? Unit 71 to 75, assemble now and head south to back up Unit 46. I believe at this critical time, Unit 46 does not have any backup to deal with those freaks," the Division Commandant ordered.

"As per your commands, sir," Unit Captain Jangir responded, his face set in a determined expression.

"Apologies," Unit 70 Captain interjected.

"What is it, Sangini?" Division Commandant asked.

"I believe that their main target is Marinabad," Sangini shared her thoughts.

"I see," the Division Commandant said, deep in thought as he donned his coat, preparing for the fight.

"She isn't wrong. After all, Marinabad is the spine of the Malwai Military and the headquarters of our weapons division. What are they planning? Think, think, think, think, you bastard. I get it. They sent a decoy and are probably sending their main force towards the east, directly to Marinabad. But aren't they aware of the Military Festival? They were. I get it now. Who in the world is their strategist? Someone this brilliant... This... This is a..." these thoughts raced through the Division Commandant's mind.

"This—Th—This is a well-planned attack on not just Sarzapur or Marinabad, but the whole West Malwai, the Bindavaram," he thought out loud.

"What do you mean, Commandant?" Sangini asked, puzzled.

"Sangini, and all remaining units, I want you to spread this word to all the WARHEADS," it seemed Commandant Arjun had figured out something critical.

"What is the word, Commandant?" Sangini asked formally.

"Full Heat: 120%," Commandant Arjun said, invoking a sacred phrase known only to the 7 Warheads and the 5 Division Commandants, along with the chief-in-commands.

"Roger that," Sangini responded, heading towards the Barlena Battle House of the Marinabad Division.

The Malwai Military, one of the finest in the world, has several branches: Regimental Military, Divisional Defense Force, Royal Army, Internal Military, and Special Military.

The Military Chief-in-Command is the face of the Malwai Military, along with his subordinate, the Assisting Chief-in-Command of Military. Under these two superiors, the Malwai Military includes the Attack Force, Defense Force, and Internal Force. The chiefs of all these forces represent the military in the "Military Council of Malwai." Regiments are the divisions of the Attack Force, led by a commander and vice commander. Regiments are further divided into Units, led by a unit captain, and Platoons, led by a platoon officer. The main objective of Regiments is to protect and fight to bring peace to Malwai. There are 12 regiments and a special regiment, the Runestone Regiment.

The Defense Force consists of 9 Divisions, each led by Division Commandants and Provisional Heads of Defence Academy (P.H.D.A.). Defense Force is divided into Military Divisions, each with its own D.C. and P.H.D.A. It is further divided into Forts and then into Units. Units have Platoons under a senior officer. The main objective of the Defense Force is to defend Malwai from enemy attacks.

The Internal Force, also known as the "Police," works within the country's boundaries to maintain law and order. Their leaders are Commissioners and Inspecting Generals. They are divided into "Police Districts" and further into Police Stations. There are several squads in a police station under one Inspector as their leader and a squad captain. The "Police" also assists the "Judiciary" with investigations.

The Special Military consists of the finest and human tanks of the military, the Warheads, and Battleworms. They are among the most powerful fighters but are not under the command of the Military Council. Instead, they operate as an autonomous body under the label of the Malwai Military, led by the "Tanker."

As Sangini rushed to relay the command, the Malwai Military prepared for an all-out war. The strategic mastermind behind the Muvah attack had set a grand scheme in motion, aiming to strike at the heart of the Malwai Military during the Military Festival.

In the shadows, Raunak, the main antagonist, observed the unfolding chaos with a sinister grin. "Everything is falling into place," he murmured to himself. "The distraction at Sarzapur is working perfectly. While they scramble to defend, our true objective lies within Marinabad."

Raunak's plan was not just to capture Marinabad but to cripple the entire West Malwai region, striking a blow that would resonate across the nation.

Meanwhile, in the combat arena, the candidates prepared for their one-on-one fights, unaware of the brewing storm outside. Shailya focused on honing his prediction senses, determined to rise to the challenge.

"The first match is Ahuro vs. Miyazaki Azhura," the announcer declared.

Azhuro and Ahuro faced off, their weapons gleaming under the arena lights. The tension was palpable, each fighter sizing up their opponent.

"Back off, I don't want to kill you," Azhuro warned, his confidence unshaken.

"Not so fast," Ahuro retorted, launching his attack.

As the battle for Sarzapur intensified, the stakes grew higher. The Muvah Army's coordinated assault threatened to destabilize the entire region. The fate of Marinabad and the outcome of the Military Festival hung in the balance.

At the Arena:

"You have become tough," Mazhiro whispered in Armeet's ear as the combat match continued between them.

"Blade Style: Blade of Flame" "Fifth form: Hono"

Mazhiro unleashed the fifth form of Blade of Flame against Armeet. Within mere seconds, he moved rapidly across the stage, spreading fire with his flame blade. Although the combat stage, prepared by CCP Constructions, was both fire-resistant and cold-resistant, no element could easily destroy it. Mazhiro didn't stop at spreading fire; to secure his victory, he used:

"Blade Style: Blade of Flames" "Sixth Form: Superiority"

By using Superiority, he intensified his flames. The fifth and sixth forms, used consecutively, were nearly invincible. However, they had a major drawback—a cooldown time of five minutes, which Mazhiro had reduced from twenty minutes through rigorous practice. Now, it was Armeet's turn to defend.

"178 seconds left. If I bury my feet into the stage, I will be able to stand firmly on the surface, and his blow would not stop my attack," Mazhiro strategized in his mind.

"Huh? What? The attack that I feared is right here. Wh-what should I do? No! What would he do in my shoes? I need to figure it out. No. I know what to do. This is all within my reach. I-I can do this. If I jump and use my blade, I could disrupt the flames. I will defeat him," Armeet resolved.

"Blade Style: Blade of Air" "Ninth Form: Disrupting Wind"

Armeet jumped high into the air and started swinging his blade as quickly as he could. To extinguish the flames, he needed to swing his blade 120 times in one minute. This seemed impossible, but Armeet boosted his strength and ran into the flames to use his attack's full potential.

"What?" Mazhiro was initially fearful but didn't lose his calm.

"Blade Style: Blade of Air" "Fourteenth Form: Heat Waves"

Heat Waves, among the most powerful forms of wind sword and blade of air, created a hot wind that could disrupt existing flames and create its own. This form was specifically designed to counter blade of fire.

"The match is turning towards its end."

"I won't lose!" Mazhiro screamed.

"Blade Style: Blade of Flames" "Eleventh Form: Flames of Hate"

The most powerful attack of Blade of Flames was enough to burn the entire arena, but because of Mazhiro's control over his blade, the flames didn't scatter around. The three minutes were already over. Would Mazhiro win?

"Blade Style: Blade of Wind" "Seventh Form: Tornado"

The Tornado form of the wind blade could initiate a literal tornado. The swing was so powerful that even Armeet struggled to withstand it. This final attack was decisive for both.

"Well, who wins?" This question echoed in the spectators' minds.

THE BATTLE AT SARZAPUR

"Reinforcements are here," a Malwai soldier informed.

"Crap! Captain, their reinforcements have arrived," a Muvah informant reported.

"We can do this, soldiers. Die on the battlefield," the Muvah Captain commanded.

"Take out your special category guns, soldiers," the D.A. ordered.

"As you command," they all responded in unison.

All the Malwai soldiers had two pistols and one rifle-like gun body. They merged these into a new gun called "Specio," developed by the Military Science Wing of the Malwai Military. This gun was suitable for long-range attacks, with a range of 19,000 meters and a scope range of 22,000 meters. This was a secret weapon used only by Malwai. Its drawback was a one-minute cooldown period after each shot, a critical time due to the high chances of rapid fire by the Muvah's GX74, a highly-rated long-range rifle known for its rapid shooting.

"Charge!" the Muvah Captain ordered.

"Yes, sir!" the soldiers responded.

"It seems that... Crap. Boost the defenses. Use RP86 and Uvia simultaneously. Granite squad and attack squad, capture the enemy. Defense force, fall back and support the attack squad," the D.C. ordered.

Rolling over the ground, hiding in jungles and grass, this battle was soon going to get exposure. The media was on its way to Sarzapur Fort. Unit 46 was on the brink of disaster.

"What the heck is Sangini doing? Come on, Warheads and Battleworms," the D.C. was completely tense.

"I will do it on my own now," the D.C. declared.

"Fist Technique: Angry Fist"

Angry Fist was Division Marinabad's Commandant's special attack that never failed. It was part of the combat techniques that used a person's fists and muscles to operate. Unlike the blade styles and sword styles, combat techniques were much faster.

"We are here!" said the Warheads, itching to fight. The battle was now officially begun as media from all over the globe focused their attention on Sarzapur. Not much time was left for the news to reach its nearest headquarters, Marinabad. The Muvah were doomed.

Warheads and Battleworms had arrived. What would they do? Would they erase the existence of the Deceiving Unit? With all the strong fighters here, what would happen to Marinabad and the Muvah Attack Unit?

As the combatants on both sides prepared for the next wave, the tension in the air was palpable. The future of the battle—and perhaps the entire region—hung in the balance. With every passing moment, the stakes grew higher, and the true extent of the conflict began to unfold.
