"Here, your keys," Fay said, stretching the car keys to him.
He accepted it, but didn't make an attempt to leave.
"What are you waiting for?" She asked in a confused tone.
"You're not even going to see me off?" He threw his own question , and even added a charming smile for a little razzledazzle.
"Nice try." She turned around, and made to leave, but he held her back.
"What do you want now?"
"Just, you're beautiful Fay."
He let her go, and turned towards the door. Before she could get over the shock of his words, he was gone.
Ace walked into the day that was fast darkening into the night.
His eyes scanned the compound until he found his car.
He walked up to it, and was surprised it was very clean.
If he remembered clearly, the car had been muddied the last time he saw it.
His lips curved into a grin. The car had definitely been washed.
For what it was worth, perhaps, she didn't completely hate him.
