"You were so cool with how you handled that situation," Landon said, creeping behind Ace.
Ace half turned, and frowned. "What did you do to everyone? Why is it just the burly guys and a cashier left?"
"The manager threatened to bundle you and whoever was the reason for the holdup out, so I offered him something he couldn't resist." He smiled sinisterly.
"Do I own the place now?" Ace chuckled. "It's getting hard to keep track of my business ventures."
"Nope. Someone else does."
"You?" Ace asked, impressed.
"Not me either. I don't think it's any concern of yours yet. Let's just say, once paperworks has been signed, it's going to be a new dawn here."
Ace shook his head. "What exactly do you plan on doing with a kids store?"
"You'll see."
"I can't wait."
He walked around searching for the perfect gift. Out of all the crazy things they had done in the past, this could very much make the top ten list.
