"Cam, if you had a girl child, what would you get her as a gift for her birthday?" Fay asked as they walked through the different aisles.
"Maybe a little doll? Little girls like that, don't they?"
"I guess. But don't you think it's a little generic?"
"I mean, you're also right."
"Wait," she stopped, an idea forming in her head.
Cam stopped too, satisfied with watching her. He could go round with her all day and not be bored. She had the curious mind of a child.
There was always a question at the tip of her tongue, and he had never been happier to provide answers to anyone.
"Do you think she would like a diary? You know at that age, I wished I had one. Sometimes, you just want to pour out your soul to an inanimate object. Something she can reference later in the future. What do you think?" She clapped excitedly.
