"How would you like to receive your payment? Will a check be convenient?" Xylon Bass directed at Fay who was unable to curtail her excitement at having sold out her perfumes.
Her toes curled, and her tummy fluttered with euphoric joy.
"I haven't even told you a price yet," her eyes widened when it dawned on her. "You can't pay without knowing the price."
The real truth was she didn't exactly know the price to splash on her perfumes. She had hoped that on getting to the fragrance store, they would evaluate it, and give her whatever they think it was worth.
"I know how much I want to pay for it," he said, interrupting her thoughts.
Her ears twitched as his words drifted through. "Really?" She asked, wriggling her nose in confusion.
He smiled, and whipped his head towards his driver. Ralph didn't need his boss to speak to him for him to know what he was supposed to do.
As soon as he looked at him, he pretty much got the message.
