Fay's buzzing phone woke her up the next morning.
She rolled, and almost fell to the ground when her eyes pushed wide open.
"Go away," she mumbled, wondering who could be calling her so early.
When the phone wouldn't stop buzzing, she straightened up irritably, and began searching for the direction the buzz was coming from.
Her eyes went to the bedside table, and there the stubborn bastard laid.
Pouting at her interrupted rest, she rolled to the other side of the bed, and grabbed the phone.
The remnant of sleep left her eyes as soon as it saw the name on the screen.
"Good morning ma'am," she said in a sharp voice.
"Good morning Fay. I'm sorry for disturbing your morning sleep. I just wanted to tell you we may have a reason to go out today. Do you think you're up for it?" The matriarch asked.
"I am!" She said enthusiastically.
"Great! I'll call you when I'm almost at the house."
