"Oh now you want to play victim?" Her laughter instantly ceased. "You made the rules about the boss's entrance. I was just following it. Besides, when she deceived me by telling me she was shopping and decided to get something for you, I felt pity and let her go. I even followed her to your office. How much kinder could I be?"
