"Looming threat? What looming threat?" Levi asked. "Mr Goldstein, I'll get straight to the point," Agent Wilson began, his voice low and serious. "What you experienced tonight was no ordinary fire. It was a manifestation of ancient extraterrestrial technology- something beyond our usual understanding."
Levi's mind racedas he tried to make sense of the agent's words. 'Extraterrestrial Technology?' It seemed too far-fetched, too surreal to be true. And yet, he couldn't deny the strange sensation he had felt amidst that circling flame, as if some unseen force was guiding his actions.
"We've been monitoring your activities for some time, Mr. Goldstein," Agent Wilson continued, his gaze piercing. "Your courage and leadership have not gone unnoticed. That's why we believe you're the perfect candidate to join a special task force we're assembling to combat this threat"
"First off I'm not a leader, If I were I would have become a fire chief long ago. And what threat are you talking about?" Levi questioned. "It was because of that school incident isn't it?" Levi was taken aback, but he simply remained quiet. "We saw you lead, but because the mission was a failure you believed it was your fault" the agent continued. Levi was still quiet, but he was starting to have flashbacks. "We believe you still possess the leadership qualities you showed at that time, you just have to let go" Agent Wilson added.
"What if it happens again? What if I becomes the cause of those many incidents, what then?" Levi asked, in a desperate tone. "You failed because you were the only firefighter there, but you led the students and teachers masterfully, starting today you won't be alone, you'll have comrades" the agent stated, with that Levi kept quiet but still feeling a little bit worried. "Regarding the threat, we believe we will face alien invasion within 3 months, for the exact reason that the extraterrestrial technology you made contact with, came here originally, so are you in?" Agent Wilson said.
Levi thought about it, but he was still filled with doubt. Before he could voice his doubts however, Agent Wilson interrupted him. "Here's the dossier containing information on the other members of the task force - individuals from different walks of life, each with their own unique talents, all chosen for their exceptional talents and unwavering dedication to the cause" Agent Wilson, then added. "Akira Tanaka, a brilliant engineer and inventor from Tokyo, his expertise in technology could prove to be an invaluable use against extraterrestrial threat, he was also a former member of the "Japanese Self-defense Forces". Valentina Hernandez, she's a feisty skilled martial artist who specializes in wrestling and lucha libre, former soldier in the Mexican Army, specializing in reconnaissance and covert operations.
Malik Mbeki, Malik is a member of an elite special forces unit in Ethiopia, he specializes in counterterrorism operations an maintaining stability in Ethiopia. He also is a master of Muay Thai. And last but not the least, Amanda White, she served as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, flying combat missions and providing air support."
As Agent Wilson left, Levi called out to him. "Oh?" Agent Wilson asked. "Come meet me tomorrow, and show me to these soldiers" Levi said. "Does that mean you're in?", "Yes".
"We'll see you, Mr. Levi Goldstein"
....
The Next Morning...
"Mr. Goldstein, are you ready?" Agent Wilson asked, "I'm ready"
"Mr. Goldstein, I know this is a lot to take in," Agent Wilson began, his eyes focused on the road ahead as they sped towards their destination. "But it's important that you understand the gravity of the situation we're dealing with ."
Levi nodded, his expression serious as he listened intently to Agent Wilson's words.
"An extraterrestrial force, we believe led by General Zaraak and his forces are not like anything we've ever encountered before," Agent Wilson continued, his voice grave. "They're extraterrestrial in origin, with technology far beyond anything we currently possess. And they're determined to conquer Earth and subjugate humanity."
Levi's brow furrowed with consern, the weight of Agent Wilson's words sinking in as he processed the enormity of the threat they were facing.
"But why me?" Levi asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "I'm just a firefighter. What could I possibly do against aliens?"
Agent Wilson glaced at Levi, a reassuring smile on his lips. " You may be a firefighter, Mr. Goldstein, but you're so much more than that," he said, his voice earnest. "You possess unique abilities - an affinity for fire that sets you apart from other leaders I know. And it's those abilities that make you the perfect candidate to lead the Power Rangers in our fight against General Zaraak. You see, the fire you witnessed the other day, is a manifestation of alien technology, and 'it' chose you to be it's host"
Levi's eyes widened in surprise, the realization dawning on him that he had a part to play in this larger-than-life battle for the fate of humanity.
"But I don't even know the first thing about being a Power Ranger," Levi said, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
Agent Wilson nodded, understanding the weight of Levi's apprehension. "That's where I come in," he said, his tone reassuring. "I'll be there every step of the way to guide you and help unlock your full potential as the Red Ranger. Together, we'll ensure that you're fully prepared to face whatever challenges come your way."
Levi took a deep breath, the gravity of the situation settling over him like a heavy blanket. But despite his fears and doubts, he felt a flicker of determination igniting within him - a resolve to stand up and fight for what's right.
"Alright, Agent Wilson," Levi said, his voice steady and determined. "I'll do it, and help you take out this General Zakak or whatever."
Agent Wilson chuckled and said, "it's General Zaraak"
As Agent Wilson's car pulled up to a nondescript warehouse on the outskirts of the city, Levi couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation coursing through him. This was it - the moment he would meet the rest of the Rangers and officially join their ranks in the fight against General Zaraak.
Exiting the vehicle, Levi followed Agent Wilson through the warehouse doors and into a sprawling underground complex hidden beneath the surface. The air hummed with activity as technicians and operatives moved about, preparing for the mission ahead.
"Welcome to our base of operations, Mr. Goldstein," Agent Wilson said, gesturing for Levi to follow him deeper into the facility. "This is where the Power Rangers gather to train, strategize, and prepare for battle."
Levi took in his surroundings with wide eyes, marveling at the high-tech equipment and advanced technology that filled the room. It was like something out of a sci-fi movie, and yet here he was, about to become part of it all.
As they made their way through the corridors, Levi caught sight of the other Power Rangers gathered in a central meeting room, deep in discussion. Akira Tanaka, Valentina Hernandez, Malik Mbeki, and Amanda White stood together, their expressions serious as they reviewed data and maps spread out across the table.
"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Levi Goldstein," Agent Wilson announced, drawing the attention of the other Rangers, "He'll be joining us as the Red Ranger."
