Yu Yuria expressed her frustration with a click of her tongue. "If only we understood how they neutralized our toxins and venom, this situation could have been avoided. But we will prevail in this battle, rest assured!"
She contemplated their next move. "Should we reinforce our defense by sending more of our inner disciples to the front lines?"
Yu Yuria reflected on the recent turn of events. Their initial momentum had been strong, but the enemy managed to stand their ground on the third day of the battle.
Now, the tables had turned, and they were on the defensive, struggling to regain control.
Yu Yuria turned around, her eyes fierce and the atmosphere heavy.
"We cannot continue this battle with our limited resources," she stated.
Jie Qianzhie furrowed her brows, questioning, "Are we surrendering?"
Yu Yuria shook her head, "Of course not. It's time to unleash our Sect's deadly trump card. Those who oppose us will learn their place!"
With determination, Yu Yuria strode forward on the balcony, overlooking her sect's dominion.
Disciples scurried under the watchful eyes of elders.
"Listen to me!" she declared.
The busy cultivators stopped in their tracks, looking up at her on the mountain peak.
"I understand your frustration, but it's time to show why our Sect is the most feared in the eastern front of the Carrion Kingdom. Stand strong. We will march to battle, and I will lead us to victory!"
The crowd erupted in cheers, showing their unwavering support for their sect.
Born and raised in this land, many felt a deep connection to their home. When they found a stone spirit mine on their border and were instructed to protect it at all costs, they acted swiftly.
With their inspiring Sect Master at the forefront of the battle, victory suddenly felt within reach.
--
On the battlefield near the Three Snake Head Sect, cultivators cried out in pain as they were consumed by flames, tornadoes, and massive waves of water, and crushed by a radiant hand descending from the sky.
The two sects, each specializing were experts in conflicting practices, leading to a deadlock. They turned to launching relentless assaults on each other, unleashing vast quantities of their Spiritual Qi.
We're losing the battle. Elder Lin, we need to retreat!" exclaimed a cultivator in the Early Golden Core Realm, clad in a tattered dark cloak with the insignia of the Three Snake Head Sect, urged as he helped Elder Lin stand his ground after being blown away by a blast while trying to protect his disciples from a gigantic hand descending from the sky.
The Elder surveyed the battlefield, witnessing explosions and devastation unfolding before them.
"All of this because of the Low Spirit Stone Mine..." the Elder muttered. He turned to his companions and declared, Let's retreat! We require the Sect Master's aid!"
Suddenly, a powerful force pressed down on their bodies.
Three esteemed Elders from the Snake Devouring Sect, each clad in a different colored robe, floated above their treasures and weapons, their presence shining like stars in the night sky. As they moved, they left a trail of dust and light behind them, resembling a galaxy.
Their long white hair and beards swayed in the wind, enhancing their majestic appearance. The disciples behind them were filled with respect and awe at their grand entrance.
They emanated a formidable aura.
Great Elder Gu Chin says, "Who gave you permission to leave here alive? Was it me? No, now perish!"
Elder Lin was caught off guard as a massive entity twice the size of before materialized in the sky and hurtled towards them.
The disciples following the three elders had smirks on their faces, but their expressions quickly changed as the chaotic atmosphere intensified.
A commanding voice echoed through the air, silencing the ongoing battle.
"Who dares to challenge my authority?" The alluring figure of Yu Yuria appeared in the sky, causing fear in the hearts of the Snake Devouring Sect disciples.
The three elders of the Snake Devouring Sect clenched their jaws as they saw a captivating woman hovering above them. Her presence was not grand, but her aura instilled fear in their hearts.
Yu Yuria descended gracefully, using her hand to create a wave of Spiritual Qi that split the ground. "If anyone is brave enough, step forward and face me."
No one dared to challenge her.
The woman standing opposite them is Sect Master Yu Yuria, renowned as the Venomous Master of her time.
Yu Yuria chuckled at the audience's response. "Seems even esteemed Elder Gu Chin is feeling fearful?"
Elder Gu Chin, clad in a green robe, huffed, his gaze sharp with malice. "Your appearance here suggests you're in dire straits. The Three Head Snakes have been weakened. If you had just let us control the spirit mine from the start, none of this would've occurred!"
"Say what you want, old man. Your time has come!" Yuria's aura turned fierce, unleashing a powerful surge of Spiritual Qi that disrupted the area in the vicinity.
The disciples, still in the Foundation Realm, trembled in terror as their bodies involuntarily recoiled and their hair stood on end.
They were overwhelmed by the intensity of her aura, filled with rage and a palpable sense of impending doom.
Yuria effortlessly uprooted and hurled several nearby hills toward the three elders with a single gesture.
The three elders swiftly waved their hands, summoning multiple treasures provided by their Sect Master to fortify the barrier protecting them from the attack.
Despite the strength of the treasures, they were surprised by the force of the assault, realizing that even with their combined power, they were vulnerable.
"Stay vigilant! She must have a strategy," cautioned Elder Gu Chin, his aura growing more intense and turning menacing.
As they obliterated the hills, a chilling sensation ran down their spines as they detected a menacing presence behind them.
The intense aura of malice made them fear that their cultivation could collapse at any moment.
Elder Gu Chin reacted swiftly, but the two elders next to him were slower to respond. Despite his quick action, he was not unscathed, as both of his arms were bleeding profusely.
"Damn it!" Elder Gu Chin cursed as he witnessed the black goo oozing from the orifices of the two elders.
His arms went numb, and his heart raced, pumping blood faster than usual.
He watched as his wound darkened, and his blood vessels swelled.
Without hesitation, Elder Gu Chin severed both of his arms, causing blood to gush from the open wounds.
He cried out in agony as he worked to heal his injuries. "Arghh! Damn it!"
The two elders disintegrated into dust unnoticed, their ashes dispersing in the air.
Elder Gu Chin, sweating and gasping for breath, forced a smile on his wrinkled face. "Master Yu Yuria's venomous skills are truly remarkable. Even our antidote-enhanced bodies couldn't withstand you."
Yu Yuria raised her right brow and smiled seductively.
Elder Gu Chin smirked triumphantly. "But that wasn't the end of it. Watch this!" With a graceful movement, he dispersed the toxic Spiritual Qi caused by Yu Yuria's attack, causing it to evaporate.
His body emitted a mist and disappeared into thin air.
Yu Yuria was taken aback by the unexpected turn of events. "You're truly impressive," she muttered, readying herself for another attack.
But her surprise didn't end there.
To her astonishment, Elder Gu Chin's missing limbs had regenerated! Yu Yuria couldn't believe her eyes.
"How is this possible?!" she gasped in disbelief.
Even the most potent elixirs in the Earth Realm couldn't achieve such a feat, making Elder Gu Chin's regeneration a miraculous anomaly.
This revelation completely shifted Yu Yuria's perspective entirely.
Elder Gu Chin's face returned to its normal appearance, his new skin glistening despite the wrinkles. "Surprised? This is just the beginning. Once we secure the Spirit Stone Mine, we will be unstoppable!" Elder Gu Chin boasted, enjoying the shocked expression on the enemy's Sect Master's face.
"There's no way you practice a conventional cultivation method! It must be unconventional! You and your Sect disciples must die now!" Yu Yuria exclaimed, disturbed by the Snake Devouring Sect's extreme plans.
Their radical approach went against logic and nature, surpassing even the legend of ambrosia from the Heaven Realm.
Yu Yuria's calm demeanor transformed into a malevolent one, exuding a potent aura of death as her Spiritual Qi surged, generating torrents of deadly intent that swiftly dissolved the less powerful cultivators in her vicinity.
Elder Gu Chin's smug expression vanished as he was forced back by her deadly intent, his skin and flesh melting away uncontrollably. "Damn you and your technique!"
Elder Gu Chin's body flickered as his flesh and skin melted and regenerated spontaneously.
Yu Yuria's Spiritual Qi, combined with her venomous technique, caused flesh to melt within a certain radius.
Elder Gu Chin flicked his melted hand, using the treasures he had materialized as a catalyst to strengthen the barrier he formed.
However, his efforts were futile as Spiritual Qi is an intangible element that can pass through the barrier, unlike his treasures which are incapable of blocking and isolating Spiritual Qi.
This technique instilled fear in the hearts of all in the Carrion Kingdom.
With only his grotesque face left, Elder Gu Chin warned, "The Snake Devouring Sect and its allies will remember this!"
Thus, a powerful enemy with exceptional regenerative abilities was vanquished.
Yu Yuria quickly ceased emitting her Spiritual Qi, gasping for air as sweat covered her unblemished face. The immense amount of Spiritual Qi she had used in her attack was evident.
Understanding the risk of a prolonged battle with Elder Gu Chin due to his formidable regenerative ability, she knew that only her most lethal strike could defeat him.
Descending gracefully to the ground, she effortlessly flicked her hand, causing the sweat to disappear.
There was no applause for her triumph over a strong adversary. Her sect's disciples had withdrawn, and the remaining foes had fled upon witnessing the overwhelming power of her technique.
As she harnesses the turbulent spiritual Qi within her, a potent aura blankets the battlefield.
Yu Yuria swiftly assumes a defensive posture, acknowledging the familiar aura she occasionally emits to establish her authority.
A Nascent Soul Realm cultivator appears.
"Excellent performance, Sect Master Yu Yuria. Your sudden appearance caught me off guard, but this reckless move will be your downfall," said Great Elder Xi Guru.
Yu Yuria frowned and responded, "Great Elder Xi Guru, I am surprised to see you have reached the Nascent Soul Realm so quickly. Not long ago, you sought an elixir from my sect to slow down your body's decay. Did the unorthodox methods of the Snake Devouring Sect tempt you and prolong your life?"
The Great Elder Xi Guru chuckled and replied, "Yes, your refusal led me to discover newfound power and vitality."
Yu Yura clenched her teeth in frustration.
In the past, Elder Xi Guru was not the respected elder he is now; instead, he was a ruthless solitary cultivator with a decaying body that emitted a foul odor.
This was another way for cultivators to meet their end, aside from dying in battle.
His body would deteriorate, giving off a putrid smell until his cultivation root decayed.
However, he has now rejuvenated and reached the Nascent Soul Realm, full of vitality.
I'm actually relieved I didn't assist you back then. A heartless individual like you is better suited for an idiosyncratic sect!" Yu Yura countered.
The Great Elder Xi Guru chuckled as he observed Yu Yura gearing up for another confrontation.
"Don't worry, little snake. I wasn't sent here to harm you, although I was tempted to. The Sect Master of the Snake Devouring Sect has extended an invitation to you and your sect. It's an opportunity, I must say,"
Yu Yura grimaced in response.
"He can help you advance to the Late Stage Nascent Soul Realm and provide a cultivation manual with the same regenerative ability, but through a clean method, in exchange for ownership of the spirit mine and your loyalty and allegiance," Yu Yura scoffed.
"I'm not foolish like you, falling for deceitful promises and being enticed by lies!"
Her response ignited anger in his heart.
The Spiritual Qi of Great Elder Xi Guru surged, exuding a menacing aura filled with killing intent aimed at Yu Yuria.
Without hesitation, Yu Yuria reciprocated with her own intense killing intent.
The clash of their auras created a rift in the heavens, causing tornadoes to swirl around them. Ultimately, it was the Great Elder Xi Guru who relented first.
"I owe the Sect Master a debt, so I won't harm what he values... for now," Great Elder Xi Guru stated with a hint of malice. "The offer remains open until midnight."
Yu Yuria challenged him, "No need to wait. Let's settle this now and see who emerges victorious."
With a smile, Great Elder Xi Guru dismissed the confrontation and departed, taunting, "Prepare for your demise tomorrow and the downfall of your Sect then.
Yu Yuria was left seething with anger and concern as she watched him leave, his eyes leering at her sumptuous body.
