She looks at Owen, who had given her his immediate attention upon sensing her look.
"Can we order later?" among the other options Lucy had on what to say were Can they leave us alone and I don't know what to order.
"Can you give us some privacy?" Owen gestured to the staff sensing the discomfort in Lucy's face.
"Is something wrong?" He asks in earnest.
"First of all, why is the place empty?"
"I reserved it," Owen says matter of factly as if it was the easiest answer in the world.
Lucy knows what reservation is and understands exactly what Owen meant but she still has to ask it out loud thinking she might be wrong.
"You reserved us a table?" She asks carefully.
"Yes." Okay, so she might been wrong but that doesn't answer her first question. "So why is there no one else around? Maybe the food is bad here." She purposely lowered her voice on the last line.
