SIX WATCH:IRAQ

January 20 , 1993. Captain 'Cowboy' Damian Whitehall stared out , from the Hot Cramped space they referred to as : 'The Box' known to the civilians as a cockpit , checking and rechecking his systems readying up for a strike , due 1 hour later. Everything was good. Damian closed his eyes and breathed. Readying himself for the mission. Alright, Mist , Ready? , said damian to the man in olive green sitting in the back seat of the F-16 B standing on the tarmac ,ready. Yup , Locked and Loaded , responded Captain Matthew 'Mist' Rodgers , Damian's 'Wizzo' and best friend. Signalling the wingmen on his wings , Damian pulled down the jet black visor on his helmet and strapped on his MBU-12 OxygenMask.Reaching forward, he pressed the button and felt the aircraft jerk as the Bubble canopy came down around them , closing them off from the Outside world.Looking down , Damian looked at the picture taped beside the Altimeter, Of His Fiance , Kelly , A gorgeous woman the same age as him. stroking it he pushed the throttle forward and felt the Falcon lurch forward , as it gained speed , taxiing out from the tarmac to the Runway. Standing on the Runway , Damian pulled out his rosary , and kissed it,praying for their safe return. Then he turned his neck back and looked at Mist , looking forward . Damian nodded and Mist Responded with a slow nod as well , signalling the 'All Clear'. Looking Right , Damian saluted the ground crew , and just then took his foot off the groud brakes , and the Falcon lurched forward , gaining speed , as, Damian pushed the jet into Full Afterburners , and with a ear-piercing roar , the Falcon's Nose bit into the Hot Air , as Damian gently pulled on the Fly-by-wire , the falcon climbed 100, 200 . Keying the mike , Damian came over the Radio 'Reaper Leader Airborne' and soon there were 2 more Falcons on his Wings Reapers 1 and 2. 'Alright Boys , 30 minutes till target, settle in'
