Leonardo watched in anger as the shooter's body slammed into the ground.
He looked up and saw Carls holding a gun.
"Are you okay, Don?", he asked as he saw Leonardo's gaze on him.
"What the hell did you do that for?", Rob asked as he came out of his hiding place.
"I saw someone trying to shoot the Don so I saved him. You're welcome", Carls replied.
"We didn't want him dead. We were going to question him but now we can't because you shot him in the head", Rob said exasperated at the thought.
Leonardo stood there, watching Carls with a dark gaze.
"Whatever questions we had has already been answered", Leonardo said darkly.
It took a minute for Rob to register what Leonardo meant. His gaze turned dark as well.
"Thank you, father in law. I owe you one", Leonardo said as he walked past Carls. He tapped him on the shoulder.
Rob walked past him without sparing him a glance.

Maria's phone rang and she picked it up immediately. After carrying out her plans, she left immediately. She made sure Bianca's eyes were on her as she left so no finger would be pointed at her.
"Was the mission accomplished?", she asked the person at the other end.
"The mission didn't even kick off. I couldn't find her", the voice answered.
"What the fuck do you mean? How can she not be at her own wedding reception?", Maria screamed.
"Calm yourself, you're not my boss. You should have made your research before giving me an order", the voice replied and ended the call.
"Arrrrgh!", Maria screamed.
Her plan was very simple and straightforward; use a slow killing poison on Arya. She would go to bed hale and hearty but died before the next day eve thereby giving the poison enough time to do its job and flush out of her system.
"Where the fuck did she go on her wedding day", Maria screamed pulling her hair.
She looked at her phone screen.
11:30pm.
The wedding reception must have ended by now. She tossed her phone at the door.

"What do you mean she's not at her room?", Leonardo thundered.
"I'm sorry, Don. The last time I saw her was when she was talking to her father", Rosa said already crying.
Leonardo looked at her with anger and disappointment on his face.
"You saw her with Carls", he asked her to confirm.
"Yes, Don", she replied still crying.
"Get out", Leonardo thundered. Rosa scurried out of the room immediately before the Don changed his mind.
"Let's calm down, Don. She looks terrified", Rob intervened.
"She should be", Leonardo returned.
"I'll check with Bianca. Check your office or your parent's side of the house", Rob said rushing out of the room.
'Not my right hand man giving me orders' Leonardo thought but he knew it was a good suggestion so he left for his study.
As he got close he realized that the door was left ajar. He never kept any work related stuff here, hence why it's never locked. But now, it seems someone came in.
He brought out his gun as he walked in.
His eyes fell on a sleeping Arya huddled on the floor. He let out a sigh of relief and disbelief. She even ran away from her own reception. She must hate him so much.
"Kitten", he said as he held her head upright.
Her eyes snapped open.
"What…wha..", she said as she rub her eyes.
"How did you get here?", Leonardo asked her with his signature smirk.
"I must have fallen asleep", she said tiredly.
"You don't say. Sit up", he said.
She sat up and saw the shade of his gray eyes turn dark.
"Who did this to you?", he growled.
Her hand flew to her face. She remembered her father slapped her.
"It was a mistake. I fell….".
"You must think I'm dumb. Only one person could have done this to you", he said menacingly. He set his anger aside and tried to think of something to make her feel better. He made a mental note to deal with it after.
She looked at him in understanding, tears forming in her eyes.
He picked her up and carried her to their bedroom in bridal style. He meet Rob on the way.
"I found her in the study", he said as he walked up the stairs. Rob followed them thinking they might need some help.
He opened the door for the couple and he attempted to step in.
"I won't need you for this one", Leonardo said and slammed the door in his face.
Rob left out a scoff and walked away. He arranged some guards to stand by the door.
Leonardo gently let Arya down on the ground so she could stand on her feet.
He cupped her face and kissed her softly, taking his time.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you. I'd never let you worry about your safety again", he said, breaking the kiss.
Arya finally let her tears fall.
He wiped it off her face.
"I'd like to have my bath", she said.
"I already dismissed Rosa. Do not fret, I can be your maid tonight", he said.
"I can do it myself, thanks", she said as she walked into the bathroom.
Leonardo's raised an eyebrow.
"What's your attitude for?", he asked.
Arya rolled her eyes. She tried to get to the zipper on her dress.
He stepped forward to get it for her. He took his time pulling the zipper down. Before she could think of anything else, her dress was falling off her shoulders and in it's place was his hands.
Her dress was still held in place by her breast. He turned her around and kissed her again, slowly, sensually.
Arya could feel herself getting light headed from the kiss, she kiss him back with same fervor.
Leonardo deepened the kiss and she continued to match his pace.
"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen", he said as he broke the kiss. Her face turned red and she tried to get out of his embrace.
"Not tonight, kitten. You can't keep running away from me".
