"Mom!" I shouted as I came running to my mom and upon reaching her, I hug her tightly.
"What happened princess? Tell me, but first let's go inside, you're all wet" Mom asks me while rubbing my back, calming me down.
We walk inside the house and mom sat me down on the sofa while she gets me a towel. Returning she ask me again what happen while rubbing my back again.
"That bitch, Cassandra, embezzle almost 300 million mom, all dad's life work is in trouble, it's now on the verge of bankruptcy" I told mom as I continue crying.
"That bitch! I knew it, that bitch is bad news, besides being all plastic, I suspected that she is also behind your father's hospitalization, so she can steal his money"

Mom hugs me to give me comfort and rubs my back to ease the pain I am feeling.

My phone vibrates and it's a call again from Uncle Antonio. He told me that he called as soon as he is finished talking with the police. They informed him that bitch Cassandra might be already flew out of the country, but they put up a warrant of arrest already and will be arrested once she step back to the country and her face was already on the wanted watch list.
"That bitch! Knowing that woman, she will change her face and identity in order not to get caught, she might even not Cassandra Willers, thank you for the update and taking care of everything, Uncle, I'll come to the office as soon as possible" I said to Uncle Tonio.

I end the call and place the phone on the coffee table and wipe the tears on my eyes. I rest my back on the sofa because of exhaustion.
"I swear to God, I'll make that bitch pay, whatever happens, I will make her pay, I'll take back dad's money" I promise myself, and I will make sure that I will do everything to make this happen.
"I 'll support you all the way princess, I also want make that bitch pay, but don't stress yourself so much on everything okay, take care of yourself too, do not shoulder everything, you have us" Mom said to me.

I rest my head once again in the sofa and close my eyes. My head is trembling and my eyes hurts so bad with all the crying, my throat was also so dry.
"Mom, can you get me glass of water and bag of ice for my eyes" I ask mom while my eyes still shut. I feel mom getting up from the sofa.
"Of course, Princess, you must be thirsty with all the crying"
"Thank you, Mom"
"By the way, Princess, how is Jean, how is her trip in Vernice? The last time I talk to her was the other day" Mom asks her while putting ice cubes on the bag.
"I spoke to her yesterday, she said she will not be able to call or message us because their next location will be a remote area, you know Jean, Mom, I'm sure, she is doing fine" I answered.
"Here is your water and your bag of ice, do you need anything else?"
"Nothing, Mom, thank you, you better to get some rest now, you haven't taken a rest since you arrive"
"I bought some food, it's on the table, eat something okay, do not worry about anything right now, take some rest first, everything will come in place, I am sure of it, I will always be here for you princess okay"

My mom walks towards her bedroom after giving me one last hug and I'm pretty sure she dozes off quickly. I walk towards the kitchen, with the bag of eyes still in one of my eyes to ease the puffiness. I pick up the food on the table and reheats it before I eat. While waiting for the food to heat up, I ran to get my things in the car. I place it in the sofa and take out my laptop out of it to finish working on my paper so I can send it to my professor.
After finishing it, I quickly sent it to the link provided by the professor and start reviewing the file sent by Dr. Kristopher that he gave to me the other day. I also read the procedure that he will be performing to the patient to familiar myself. I keep on getting distracted by the calls my ex is making which gets me super irritated because I am so engrossed in what I am reading, so I completely blocked his number. I am so engrossed that I didn't notice the time, I turn off my laptop, wash myself and change clothes before dozing off in my bed.
I was woken up by the smell of my mom's cooking and also by my phone that keeps on buzzing, I reach for it under my pillow and it was Jean.
"Hey Jean" I ask her sounding sleepy while getting up, rubbing my eyes.
"Hey, I heard what happen in the company, how is everything?" I can hear so much concern on her voice.
"Oh you, heard about it already, I guess Mom or Uncle told you about it, honestly I don't what to do, I don't know where to start" I told her.
"You know that you have us, right? Don't take all the burden to yourself, I am coming home now"
"You don't have too, you have been waiting for that trip for ages, come home when it's done"
"No, I am coming home, you are more important than this"

After the call. I plugged up my phone. I prepare myself for the day before going to the kitchen to have breakfast.
"Mom, Jean said she is coming home" I said to my mom upon seating down.
"Her trip was already over?"
"Nope, she heard about the company and insist on coming home, did you tell her?"
"No. I didn't tell her because I know you want to be the one to tell her, maybe someone in the company told her"
