Chapter 87 - Amanda Returns

In the dimly lit attic, the girls gathered once more, their excitement palpable as they awaited Belial's arrival. As if summoned by their anticipation, the dark figure of Belial materialized before them, his presence commanding the room with an air of authority.

"Congratulations, my dear girls," Belial began, his voice smooth and velvety. "You have surpassed my expectations once again. Your bravery and determination have proven invaluable in our quest."

The girls exchanged glances, a mixture of pride and relief evident in their expressions. They had faced countless challenges and adversaries on their journey, but through it all, they had remained steadfast in their resolve.

"And now," Belial continued, "I have a special reward for you all." With a wave of his hand, he beckoned towards the shadows, where a figure stood waiting.

Amanda stepped forward, a radiant smile lighting up her face as she joined the group. "I can't believe it!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "I never thought I'd get to be a part of this!"

Belial nodded approvingly, his gaze sweeping over the group. "I believe that together, you can accomplish great things," he said. "But for now, you are free to celebrate your achievements.

I will leave you to spend the time as you wish. With that, Belial waved his hand and was gone.

The first to reach Amanda was Hannah, wrapping her in a big hug. Next the others joined in.

"What happened," Clare asked, "We were so worried."

I'm sorry," Amanda began, her head lowered, "I lied to you guys. I had tried to join you because I sensed the power around you and wanted to try to get it. I didn't know it was from Belial."

"Where have you been?" Ellie spoke up, "Its been weeks."

"At first Belial put me in his dungeon but then he released me." she replied, "He allowed me to move around his castle but kept me in his realm for the whole time. I only came back here tonight."

"We missed you," Hannah said, "wrapping her arms around her for another hug."

"We understand why you did what you did but please understand it may take time for us to fully accept you as part of the team." Clare stated, a serious look on her face.

"But tonight, we party," Ellie said, "the dance floor is calling our names."

With a sense of anticipation, the girls made their way out of the attic and into the bustling streets below. The night air was alive with energy, the neon lights of the city casting a colorful glow over the sidewalks as they made their way to the club.

As they walked, the girls chatted excitedly amongst themselves, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the city. They were filled with a sense of camaraderie and excitement, eager to see what the night had in store for them.

"You wouldn't believe the things he's had us do," Rachel said to Amanda. "We've been chasing artifacts all over the world and beyond."

Hannah giggled, "We even got to rescue a Princess and return her to her father the King. Just like something you would read in a fairy tale."

As the girls stepped into the vibrant neon lights of the night club, the pulsating beat of music enveloped them, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Amanda, newly reunited with her friends, beamed with excitement, her eyes sparkling with anticipation as she took in the sights and sounds of the bustling venue.

The club was a whirlwind of activity, with people of all shapes and sizes mingling on the dance floor, their bodies moving in rhythm to the infectious music. The air was thick with the scent of sweat and perfume, the mingling aromas creating a heady atmosphere that added to the sense of exhilaration.

The girls wasted no time diving into the festivities, their laughter mingling with the music as they danced and twirled with reckless abandon. Clare, the group's natural leader, led the charge, her moves fluid and graceful as she commanded the dance floor with ease.

"It's been so long since we got to relax, I think I'm going to dance all night," Ellie yelled out above the sound of the music.

Rachel, with her quick wit and sharp tongue, provided comic relief as she pulled off some outrageous dance moves, much to the amusement of her friends. Meanwhile, Hannah and Ellie danced in tandem, their movements synchronized as they moved to the beat with effortless grace.

As they danced, they were joined by a colorful cast of characters, each adding their own unique flair to the evening. From the suave bartender mixing drinks behind the bar to the eccentric group of revelers on the dance floor, the club was alive with energy and excitement.

Standing at the bar, Rachel asked what kind of wicked shooters he knew how to make. Looking at her the bartender smiled, "I make a really good one called 'A Demon's Revenge'. Would you like to try it."

Ordering five, she took them back to the table to share with the others. Having a toast to Belial, they shot back the Demon's Revenge and headed back for another round.

"Who would have believed that we would be living this live and experiencing everything we have done." Clare said, shooting back her third drink.

"Do you think he will let us go? Hannah asked the group.

Amanda spoke up, "I've known him for quite a while, I think once he has going what he needs you to help him with, the changes are good he will let you know."

"Do you think so," Hannah spoke with a touch of excitement in her voice.

"Yes, I do, but if he doesn't he will kill you, either way, your free. I need another shooter." she said as she headed to the bar for another round.

Clare looked at her, "Don't worry, we will figure it out." she smiled at Hannah.

Between dances, the girls took breaks to catch their breath and refuel, indulging in decadent cocktails and tasty treats from the club's menu. They chatted and laughed, swapping stories and sharing secrets as they reveled in each other's company.

"Can you believe we're actually here?" Amanda exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the scene around her. "I never thought I'd get to experience something like this!"

"It's amazing, isn't it?" Clare agreed, her voice filled with excitement. "We deserve this night of fun after everything we've been through."

And so, the girls danced the night away, their worries and cares melting away with each passing moment. For one magical evening, they were just ordinary girls, enjoying the simple pleasures of life and reveling in the joy of friendship.
