Now, they found themselves in an empty, severely damaged building with several gaping holes. They had already checked the area, ensuring it was safe from the Constructs or any of the leaders, who, for some reason, were nowhere to be seen, as if they didn't care about Copperhaven's worsening state.
From outside, thick smoke clouds could be seen rising into the air, accompanied by the sound of continuous explosions. They had expected Copperhaven to suffer damage, but they didn't anticipate such extensive destruction, throwing the entire kingdom into disarray.
