"Oh, leader Nicholas asked me to sneak into the palace library at ten o'clock tonight. So, I can't join you," Veronica said, surprising them.
"What do you mean?" Liam asked, confused.
"Didn't you hear me, Liam? Leader Nicholas asked me to go there; he feels that the information he's looking for is most likely inside the palace," Veronica explained, slightly annoyed at having to explain twice, folding her arms.
Liam looked down, thinking for a moment, feeling that something was off. "Are you sure? Leader Nicholas should have the authority to enter it; why would he need you? It makes more sense if he asked us to sneak into someone else's mansion rather than that place."
