Bernard gasped, not expecting Linda to recognize him immediately when they were all wearing the same robes without showing their faces at all. Leader Helio was also surprised to see a woman suddenly appear next to the large man, speaking as if they were close friends.
Linda then noticed the figure beside Bernard, stunned to realize it was leader Helio, someone who could easily kill Bernard if he was caught sneaking around. Reluctantly, Linda had to pretend to ensure Bernard's safety while figuring out a way to get him out of that dangerous place.
"I already told you to wait in Endside with the leader of Dread Viper, he will surely need a little help," she continued quickly, aware she was revealing a big secret to Bernard.
Bernard was even more shocked to hear Linda also knew the name of the gang down there, feeling she was becoming more mysterious and unrecognizable to him.
