The rain fell shortly after, wetting the road where they walked, creating the sound of water being stepped on that now filled the main street with people's footsteps. Only when a mech passed through did each footstep get hidden by the big splashes of water that once again managed to draw attention. In their minds, they imagined the faces of other races as they saw the professor's work, how fear took over their hearts with surrender seeming like the way out.
But that wasn't the only thing that caught Zayn and Luna's attention.
The Constructs were also moving, much more active than usual to the point that this kingdom could be called the kingdom of Constructs rather than humans, seeing the number of them compared to the kingdom's citizens, making Zayn's eyes sharper as he could feel the leaders' plans beginning to take shape.
They had to move even faster before the plan succeeded, or everyone's lives would be in great danger.
