"Wait, Luna," Evan called as they stood below, beside the main road where two large mechs were patrolling, shaking the ground with each step. The smell of hot steam and copper was clear, a daily scent they were so accustomed to that it no longer disturbed them, accompanied by slightly humid and warm air.
Luna stopped, turning to Evan who looked confused. "What's the matter?"
"What are you two actually doing? Why is Captain Zayn in such a rush?" he asked, not understanding. He had never seen Captain Zayn like this except when something bad happened to Luna two years ago.
"We just want to find out why the citizens are no longer active. If this continues for too long, Copperhaven's economy could collapse, leading to major chaos. As knights, and as part of Whiteroses, we must prevent Copperhaven's downfall," Luna explained firmly, reminding Evan that she and Zayn were on a mission.
