Ailord stared sharply at Zayn, who now looked so scared that the blood seemed to drain from his face. He turned deathly pale, his hands beginning to tremble. Ailord could sense it, not quite understanding why Zayn reacted that way when he had only said something not scary, merely expressing his feelings about human blindness. He was completely unaware that the creature that had been disturbing them since Rupture was now himself.
Every eye up there moved, looking at them as thousands more eyes began to appear. The giant sea monsters rolling the waves suddenly stopped, looking up with each hand raised as if worshiping a god until the previously pink sky turned green with slight black streaks like brushstrokes on a canvas.
