"What took you so long to come back?" Helena asked as soon as they arrived.
None of them looked like they did before; they appeared disheveled as if they had just gone through a great battle. Dirt could be seen on some parts of their clothing and faces, even in their hair. They were all a mess, as if they had just set foot in the world for the first time. Even a child wouldn't be as dirty as they were.
Helena then looked back, finding a strange iron creature that she was sure belonged to Ailord because only he could make something like that. She just didn't know how the creature could move and act like a living being because Constructs weren't supposed to have thinking abilities. They were just weapons, tools. But the black iron block behind them kept looking around with curiosity like a cat that had just arrived in a new place.
"We found something in the forest, something I'm sure will surprise you," Reyn said.
