"Zayn! Did you see that!?" asked Izabella, rushing up the stairs and freezing upon seeing the aura pillar. "I never expected to see another Red Core besides you," she whispered after a few seconds. "Let's hope they're on our side."
But Zayn shook his head. "No, they're not on our side."
Izabella wanted to ask more, but the tremors from the massive battle made the entire tower shake violently. They had to hold onto the walls to keep from falling as they watched the fight with hearts pounding as if the era of darkness was slowly returning.
Then they saw the leaders on the wall, floating silently while discussing something they couldn't hear. It didn't take a genius to understand what they wanted; it was clear they planned to rush over and try to convince whoever the Red Core was to join them, so they could face Zayn, who difficult to confront even with large numbers. Moreover, not all the leaders seemed to be on their side, as their numbers never reached eleven.
