Chapter 11 - Revolution On Planet Mora

The Sidon galaxy.

This galaxy which was almost 500 light-years away from New London, the administrative center of the empire, was the small star field marked in red during the high-level meeting of the Intelligence Agency.

The Sidon Galaxy is not a galaxy suitable for human habitation. There was only one planet suitable for life in the entire galaxy -.Planet Mura. However, there were several asteroids in the Sidon system that could provide high-energy ores, which makes this system at least not look so depressed.

However, recently the air on Mura Planet had been filled with a strange atmosphere. Everyone in Mura felt that something important was about to happen.

Some interstellar merchants had also reduced the number of trips to Mura Planet, and miners from high-energy mines had also stopped coming to Mura Planet's bars to spend money. All people, all living things in the entire Sidon Galaxy, live in a repressive environment.

On this present day, the miners were expecting their payments. As in the past, the first thing Billy, a miner, did after receiving his salary was to go to Mura Rabbit Star bar for a drink with his friend Sammy.

"Hey! Sammy, are we going to the Same old place today? The waitresses there are all very hot, and they are always ogling the guests. Today I have to get that hot red-haired girl. You remember that girl?" Billy chatted with his partner carelessly.

"Hey! Billy, I'm not going to Mura Rabbit Star bar today. I've decided to stay in the mine and play cards with Laden and the others." Sammy rejected his friend's proposal.

"Geez, what's wrong with you? What's the point of playing cards with Laden and the others?" Billy was obviously surprised by Sammy's decision.

"Man, haven't you noticed? Recently, the brothers in our mine and several other miners have not been coming to Mura." Suddenly Sammy lowered his voice. He looked around warily, and then approached Billy. "Brother, maybe you've not been informed, but I heard that something big is going to happen here on Mura soon."

"Something big? What big thing could it be?" Billy asked loudly, not caring about Sammy's caution at all.

"Keep it down!" Billy's loud voice startled Sammy. He quickly covered Billy's mouth with his hand. Then he looked around and found that no one else was paying attention. Then he took his hands away and continued to whisper, "Brother, don't be like that. I heard from the security guard at the mine, Anderson, that someone seems to be planning an explosion on this planet. You know that a distant relative of Andy works in the Intelligence Agency.

"Anderson. I mean, man, can you believe what he said? That kid can only brag. His distant relative is just a civilian in Mura's intelligence agency. If even a civilian can know these details, I'm sure the local authorities must have already implemented an arrest by now." Billy still didn't care.

"Forget it, there's nothing I can do if you don't believe it. Anyway, I'd rather believe it. This time I'll go play cards with Laden." Seeing that his old friend didn't believe him, Sammy didn't want to say anything more. Then he said his goodbye and left.

Billy still came to the popular Mura's bar. This was a bar called "Rabbit Star". On normal paydays, the bar was always crowded, but today it seemed a little deserted.

Billy sat at the bar, drinking and chatting with the bartender. "Hey, what's going on today? Why are there so few customers?"

"I don't know, but there have been strange feelings everywhere recently. Haven't you noticed? On my way to work today, I saw many strange faces. They seemed to be members of a tour group. Everyone has red ribbon tied to their arms." The bartender replied, wiping a glass.

"Tour group? There is nothing interesting to see in the Sidon Galaxy except those few mines. Well, maybe these guys probably have too much money to spend." Billy took a sip of wine.

"Who knows, but business is really slow today. If no new customers come, we might have to close early today." The bartender agreed casually. But at this time, Billy was no longer interested in continuing to chat with the bartender because he saw the red-haired waitress.

Billy had just invited the waitress to have a drink with him and got her name when suddenly a loud noise came from the direction of the airport port. Then there was a violent ground shaking tremor, and some tables and chairs in the bar fell over.

"It was an explosion!"

Billy immediately remembered Sammy's words. It seemed that Andy was not bragging this time.

"It's time for evolution!!" A young man with a red ribbon on his arm suddenly burst into the bar, yelled at everyone inside who had not yet recovered, and then ran out again.

"Revolution? Uprising?" Billy suddenly felt as if he was dreaming.

In the Intelligence Agency, all the senior officials gathered together. The director of the Intelligence Agency was letting the director of the Intelligence Analysis Division speak. "According to the analysis of the secret messages we finally deciphered, Mura in the Sidon system plans to declare independence on July 26."

"July 26th? Isn't that today?" Everyone present, except count Barton, exclaimed.

Suddenly, the door of the conference room was knocked open, and the count's special assistant walked in. Ignoring the confused looks of others in the conference room, he directly placed the interstellar network terminal in his hand on the conference table.

Opening it, a man appeared inside, followed by a group of guards with guns, "We are here, on the Mura star of the Sidon galaxy, to announce to all our compatriots in the Milky Way. Today, July 26, 8944 of the Galactic Calendar, Mura Star officially announced its break away from the tyranny of the Golden Empire. We will establish an independent planetary government..."

Although the Golden Empire has had civil wars and rebellions over the past 8,700 years since its establishment, these were all wars fought by the empire's high-ranking nobles for power. However, Mura's independence this time was organized voluntarily by civilians.

The organization leading this independence called itself the Freedom Alliance. On the day they declared independence, the Freedom Alliance publicly executed the imperial nobles and senior officials on Mura Planet through the interstellar network. They took practical actions to announce to the entire galaxy that this time was not a joke.
