Noah's POV
The dungeon doors slammed shut behind us with an eerie finality, sealing the chaos within. Blood and dirt clung to my body, my muscles aching from the strain.
The others weren't much better—Rissa limped beside me, clutching her bow, her face pale and streaked with grime, while Lila and Garth exchanged weary glances. We had all survived, but something else had changed in that short time. And it wasn't just our bodies that were battered.
I glanced over at Caedes—who walked ahead of us. His shoulders were rigid, his steps deliberate. He wasn't the same person who had entered the dungeon..My hand clenched the edge of my cloak tighter. This wasn't over.
10 minutes.
That's how much time it takes for a person to change.
I never thought I'd run into him here. Not after everything.
