The world of Gaia is fought over by the Humans and the Asur(demons) for supremacy. The story takes place a thousand years after humans discovered 'The grave of Gods'.

There are 3 ways to awaken a bloodline:

God's essence: An object or relic of the past said to be formed from the remnants of a dead god. By drawing their blood upon it, an individual can merge and awaken the bloodline of that God.

A god's essence is however, only obtainable after entering the god's realm and is usually very hard to find, thus making it extremely difficult to obtain.

Thus, there are only two main ways an individual can evolve their bloodline.

1. Bond: when a human merges their blood with a beast, they can enter the god's realm and search for a God's essence.

2: Ancestral bloodline: Humans were said to be the descendants of God. Even though they discovered the Grave of Gods', people still believe that by worshipping a particular god, they can awaken their innate bloodlines.

Every awakened bloodline starts with 1 per cent awakening. After a certain level is awakened, individuals obtain the abilities/skills of these bloodlines known as gifts.

These gifts are bestowed upon the individual every time their bloodline awakens by 1, 10, 25, 50, 75 and 99 per cent.

Gaia is divided into seven domains, namely:

Ancient sea realm [ Indian Domain ]

The realm of palladium [Domain of Greece]

Sky god realm [ Japan's Domain ]

Star god realm [ Domain of Egypt ]

Shrouding mist realm [ USA's Domain ]

Realm of the corrupted [ Domain of Rome ]

World tree realm [ Central Domain ]
