Chapter 13 - Story, huh?

"Haah~", the old man yawned, "Let's move on, Valen."

The man named 'Valen' had his face scrunched in concentration, "Just a moment…"

The old man shook his head and looked around, only to find their companion missing. After some searching, he found him staring at a tree.

"*sigh* Why did I ever agree to your request…"

The man who was staring at the tree, turned around. His face was of poetic bearing and had a sense of gentleness. A black hair and robes of lemon color. He would serve well in a monastery.

"Because you were ambitious, my friend." He smiled.

The old man harrumphed. His years had left him wizened and he always emitted a demeanor of wisdom. His hunched back and frizzy hair trembled on his staff as he walked towards the tree. He gently placed his hand on the tree and looked at the bird. The bird was feeding its younglings.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" The poet asked.

The man tilted his head, "I don't know so. I only know that the night is fast approaching and we need to find a residence."

"What is there to worry about when there is Valen?"

The old man looked at the poet, "Seth, you know about him…"

"Not this again…" The poet bowed exasperatedly.

"He is a barbarian. I trust many things but not his race. What would you do if he murdered us to loot and run away? Not even our bones would reach our village."

Seth widened his eyes and signed the old man to lower his voice. He looked around to find whether the blonde haired barbarian had approached and sighed. "Cyrus, I trust him." He laid his hands on the old man's shoulder, "You trust me, don't you?"

The old man shook his hand away and grumbled.

"Whatever… Just tell that guy to make it quick and pack up."

"Cut that guy some slack, Cyrus. He's butchering a dragon."

"Something that he has done before."
